#vaping changed my life# story of the day...a dear friend of my deceased brother from way back in the 70's used to give me grief about smoking. A while back, I told him I had used vaping to quit, and he said that vaping is still smoking. Just a little bit ago, on Facebook, he sent me a message saying he had talked to a few people, and read a few articles I had sent him, and congratulated me on my upcoming one year vaperversary. He said he was proud of me, and my brother would be, too. Just made a really crappy week a little better.

What a great story!! You helped educate him. I love how he is open enough to do the research and stop speaking from a place of ignorance. I wish more people were like that. :)

I love it!!
My vaping story: My husband was still working in North Dakota last Christmas, so when I got a big Husky toolbox (on sale at Home Depot) to turn into my vape tomb he wasn't around. The next time he came home he went into my toolbox and gave me the weirdest look! He said, "This is vape stuff!!!" I said, "I know!" He said, "I was expecting to find tools..." Silly man. Now why on earth would he expect to find tools in my toolbox? :D

#vaping story#

But they are tools. Tools of your trade, not his! They are tools to the adventure that is vaping. I know. Getting into DIY and I now need a bigger tool box . I have a small one, but I think that will be my steep box now. I do not know what to do with all the flavors now. Waiting to see the VG container I am getting to actually determine the size of the tool box needed. I do know exactly what you mean.

Oh, man, do I know this feeling... Recently outgrew my build kit (tool briefcase from Harbor freight) when I started doing more wire work (claptons, fused claptons) though that kit is now prepped for travel (will be out of town shortly for work and gone for two weeks)... And just filled my second steeping box with diy juice

This is the one that I love. You can blend VG and PG, and mix in up to 10 different flavorings.

When I first started DIY I wanted an app for my tablet so that I didn't have to lug the laptop around. I tried about 10 different calculators and found one that is my always go to called EJuice Calculator made by Berlon Burch....as I delved more into the DIY forum here, I was pleased to discover that it was mentioned a lot! It's a fantastic app and is updated frequently--and the app maker listens to what his users want!

Then I started studying coil making...and wound up with another fabulous app called Steam Engine. I haven't actually wrapped my first coil yet, but this nifty little app is helping me to understand the functions a lot better.

Actually this forum has changed my life.

I've only been a member since August and In that short time I've gained so much knowledge about the world of vaping.

#Vaping changed my life#

I would have to agree that this forum changed my life...I lurked on here from November on, studied everything I could find...Finally signed up last August because I still had questions I couldn't find. I wish I had signed up sooner! I have met a lot of awesome people, a big bunch that I now call family (you guys know who you are :D), I know I can ask any question here and not be ridiculed for asking it--in fact, most of the people that answer the questions have questions of their own--some of which I can now answer! I love that people here are open and honest about their journeys.

Vaping changed my life~

I am not much of an accessories kind of girl, but you will not find me without a matchie mod when I go out! I love how I can personalize my vaping experience with mods and tanks, and I can customize my juices to my mood!

#My Vaping Stories#
I'm a matcher too...I have one set up that is red white and blue--I just vary the shades with all the tanks I have :D Christmas is coming, so I'll be digging out the green tank to go with the red mod soon :D

One other way that vaping has changed me...I used to be a pretty disorganized person--had stuff sitting around everywhere. Started getting my vape gear and all the sudden I wanted it all organized neatly. Toolboxes were the start--one for my coil stuffs, and a simple one for my DIY...Then the flavors grew--and I needed a new toolbox. Found a cool one at Walmart that has a drawer underneath the main area..awesome! Fit a whole bunch of flavors in the bottom drawer, had all my other goodies in the top....fast forward a couple of months--looked at the hubby and said "I don't have room for anymore flavors in this toolbox!" He replies "Why don't you move that old computer desk in the bedroom...I'll build you some shelves to put in it." So a couple of weeks ago, me and the kids moved it into the bedroom--its one of the enclosed ones that has 2 doors. While he was home this last weekend, he built me some shelves in it for my flavorings. He even modified the drawer that is in it so that it's sectioned off for my coil stuffs. Now I have a spot for all my vape stuff--and my room got de-cluttered in the process as I didn't want anything mingling with my vape stuff :D

Being 68 yy, here's how vaping has changed my life:

- Lower blood pressure - 15 pt drop of both systolic & diastolic BP

- Higher O2 absorption - 92% to 99%

- 'Clean' chest x-ray after a past indication of emphysema

- Healthier gums/whiter teeth - as per dentist

- No more nose soot/lung wads in the AM

- No longer having the occasional mild night time anxiety episode due to breathing difficulties

- No more 'deep' colds. Used to get 'em at least once with a year that hung on with major coughing and chest congestion.

- Higher sensitivity to the salt in processed foods. And to think I would add salt in my 'bakky days.

- Higher IQ - hey, I did quit smoking!

My vaping story: I just bought a bigger purse last weekend and I made sure it was mod, friendly! I pack around between 3 and 5 mods whenever I leave the house, even for a short trip to the store, and some of them are not ones I want to leave in the car. Is it normal to buy a purse that will handle my mod addiction???

#My Vaping Stories#

Completely normal--Here's my story on that: I carry 2 mods/tanks and 3 of the stick batteries/lil tanks anywhere I go. I had a small purse at the time that I started vaping...upgraded to a purse that had a pocket outside so I could have my main mod at hand all the time. 4 months ago, the daughter and I were at the mall in JC Penny's and I saw this little multipac backpack. My first thought was "that front pocket would hold ALL of my mods I carry--and I could put 2 more on the side pockets!" No consideration was given to the other junk I carry in my purse lol. I shelled out $30 for it...and then when I got home I realized it had 2 internal pockets that are the perfect size for 30 ml bottles :D

I also modified it a bit to make sure my little stick batteries wouldn't fall over by getting some of the travel toothbrush holders from walmart and taping the 3 bottom pieces together. Slid it down in that pocket, put my lil stick batteries/tanks in and away I go! 2 mods fit in beside it, and I have 2 more on the outside pockets.

#my vaping stories#

A couple weeks into my vaping journey, while I was still cutting down on the cigs, I ran into a problem: my trusty MT3S's were not tasting so good and the vapor they were putting out was sub par. Hmm... I then realized that I might need to change my coils. No problem. I'll just swing by my local vape shop an pick up a couple. They're out?!!!

At that point I had been down to about one or two cigs per day and they were really beginning to taste bad. But for those five days that I had to wait for new coils, I started smoking much more--and it was scary to see how quickly I could slip back into the habit. I vowed then never to be without coils and bought fifty.

About a month later, I learned how to re-coil them. I still have about four boxes of those little coil heads....
