Finished the last hat today. Thanks goodness, I was getting squinty. The feathers are from a sparrow, so pretty tiny and fiddly. Seeing a lot of really wonderful things in this thread

I do some leatherwork, (I'm currently working on some E-cig case designs.) and I do illustration work for friends from time-to-time, but that's about it.

I also do leatherwork!!motorcycle seats and gun leather etcetc...been tooling since late Feb 2011 look me up on leatherworker.net

stealfdawg, I would love to learn leatherworking. My grandfather did some beautiful stuff......I was too young and stupid at the time to have any interest in doing it myself. I will look at that site!

Leatherwork is probably even more unforgiving then woodworking stealfdog- but can also be absolutely beautiful

I'm a chef by trade, shade-tree mechanic and general do-it-all handyman. I generally choose to do things myself rather than pay someone else to do them (even if I'm not exactly qualified to do so)
