Apparently there is a way to edit the .bin file for the RX and change the font. A lot of people in the Reuleaux by Jaybo and Wismec facebook group are doing it. I'm still gathering intel on how it's done but here are some examples:

Color change is from a film put under the front plate but above the screen - posting this picture to illustrate the font change, not the color.

Ok. Here is what I got. Please use at your own risk.

Go to this link and download the VTC_Tool.rar file.

RX200 Bin

Extract to a folder and open the VTC Tool. Then open and find your Reuleaux_RX200_V3.00.bin file and open it. You can then customize the fonts by left clicking and turning the boxes white to make the font show up and right click to make the boxes turn black and not show on your devices screen.

I'm being told that if something goes wrong you simply install a fresh copy of the version 3.0 firmware from WISMEC site and the default fonts will come back.

Remember, use at your own risk. I have not heard or seen anyone bricking their device, but I guess it could happen.

Dropped mine today from my dresser about 4 feet. Indented the hell out of the bottom of the batteries. Then got a atomizer short message, removed the Bellus, pushed the 510 to check if still springy, all good. Put Bellus back on & working better than before??!! The 3 HE4s have major dings on the negatives but still work. 3 green 25Rs from illum being shipped as we speak. No physical damage to the RX nor the screen.

Still looking for a rebuildable tank to go with my rx200... I'm having issues. All these "RTA" tanks I'm seeing around certain sites, but they aren't rebuildable...just mislabeled..and if they are rebuildable, they don't seem to be geared towards my style of vaping. Flavor always comes first. I have noticed some genesis style tanks that use the velocity style deck and cap...that could be interesting, but I can't use my velocity without going up to 130+ Watts...cuz the flavor just isn't there without higher vapor production...I'm sure I could condense the chamber though.

I'm liking the looks of the diablo...but I really have no clue on the tanks of today. I'd like something that isn't too big, doesn't look ridiculous, and I'm vaping around 66.6-88.8 Watts at 400-450 degrees Fahrenheit with SS316L.

I have a squape reloaded on the list, but I'd prefer something that looks better, and with the option to have more than single coil operation. If only I wasn't a lung hitter....my estia would be perfect-O for some temp control fun.

I think this is the first thread I've started that hit so many pages :D

Been a while since I haven't seen you get flamed by the "pro"vape fanbois either... I know we have provape users in here...but not fanbois...:) Before I took a long absence from the forum, it was left and right that you were getting reamed for whatever you had to say, and it usually just seemed like you trying to recommend a different mod to someone.haha.

I do have to admit...the radius looks and feels really nice in person. If I didn't get to hold one, I would've still thought it was FUGLY, but it is actually a wonderful looking piece of gear...until you look at the price tag, and you compare that to its capabilities. I was reading an article written by a provape employee in a vape magazine... a lot of it was bickering about temp control, and how the chip set BETTER BE COMPLETELY ACCURATE. The whole article just seemed like a misdirection to help their business model. Yeah, yeah...vape safe.. 100% of vaping safe is knowledge...which translates into gear purchases, but it's dumb users, and also even dumber shop workers that recommend something WAY out of someone's league, that's causing all the problems. end rant.:)

Oh, I'm not getting any files in my vtc_tool.rar file to extract...

Anyone else having issues? I'm having to use zip it for free...or whatever it is, since they want money for winzip now.... I'm not having any issues with any other compressed files..:/

Edit- I do like the font that was included in the post above! Thanks daddy!:)

Why not try a totally free one instead? Have a search on Google for 7zip :)
And see if that one does any better for you :)

I have zipitfree..it was the first, and only decent one, that came up on google search that day, and had good reviews.. I haven't had any issues with it from any other compressed files...

I'll give that a go though...no more harm can come from downloads like that on my alien. My daughter will eventually remove all the keys soon enough anyways..lol She can't help it...cuz the light effects are rather enticing.

Thanks.

Well, the provarinati and I have made peace (the one that caused me the most grief has been "moved on" I noticed the other day), and I am infact the proud owner of a Radius, that was infact donated to me BY the Provarinati peeps. If you remember...the radius does exactly what I said I wished ProVape would make a mod to do.....and just holding it doesn't give you the full story. You have to use one. It may "only be" 40 watts, but will outperform most "60 watt" mods out of china, and the vape is really really smooth. After using it for a few months, I would say it is worth its price tag ;)....but it is definitely designed around a different type of vaper then the RX200 :p, which is also a very decent mod, specially after the 3.0 update gave us adjustable TCR

Yep... I was lucky, and I wasn't on the forums until after the 3.0 update was released... and I believe I have hardware version 1.3.....I don't know what differences that has though.

And I know the golfer you are talking about...haha.

I guess I should start kicking up some dirt about provape...maybe I could get a free Radius out of it too..:p

Well, back to bed...(playing old PS3 games). I'm going to send you a PM tomorrow about your forum name. If I don't get at you tomorrow, and you remember, get at me... I'm trying to make a decision for my future.:)

I use WinRAR and it is working fine.

When you extract the files you should see a file named RX200_BBN_Skull_Hardgrave.bin and that apparently is the one with the bubble type numbers and a skull appears when you are firing the device.

Under the folder "VTC_Tool" there are a bunch of other fonts in the "font" folder.

In the VTC_Tool program you can open your Reuleaux_RX200_V3.00.bin file from the wismec website and edit it directly to however you like your font to be and then upload it using Wismec firmware update tool.

Uploaded one of the premade bin-files and it seems to work fine. In the VTC tool program I understand how to directly manipulate the numbers and characters but the "load font" button doesn't seem to do anything. Any idea of how to get it to work? Also, what does the "display" "ssd1306" or "ssd1327" do/mean?

You have to "save" the file and then upload it via WISMEC upload tool.

ssd1306 and ssd1327 I am not sure what they are but everyone in that facebook group said to make sure the ssd1306 is checked.

Yeah, I got that. The problem was that most of the font files don't actually work or they're empty. Tried to upload standard font files from the windows folder but they're not read correctly.

Yea, I'm not sure what the other files are in the "font" folder. I tried opening a few and was unable to.

I planned on using the tool to manipulate the WISMEC version 3.0 file myself and not use the other files in the folder. I need to find a few hours to play around with it though.

Some of the fonts will open, but you'll find that some will only have the small letters, some will only have large letters, some will only have numbers etc. Also, you will have to load each new character to the bin file individually. I was thinking that it'd be easier to start with a font that's similar to the one you want to use.

I haven't tried it yet, but on opening one of the text files in the Fonts folder it states that the font it relates to was created with a program called MikroElektronika GLCD Font Creator.
On a Google search I see that there is a free version of this program available, so I suppose if you wanted too you could create some of your own styled fonts.
Might be worth a try :)

I like the Aromamizer. I've got dual coil, 24ga 316 SS, 2.5 id, 8 wraps in one that comes out to 0.16 ohm and is plenty tasty at 58Watts. I have a single coil build on rotation too, but it's a little bit of work to do single coil in the 'mizer. They have the v2 out now that gets rid of the vape band for a metal afc ring.

However, if you don't mind going up to 25mm, the 7ml supreme also from steam crave is supposed to address every nitpicky little detail anyone's ever complained about on the Aromamizer, including adding top fill.

I'm with you on the flavor thing. Size of the cloud matters not one bit as long as I can taste what I'm vaping.
