The rx200, like the Evic vtc mini, seems to require a bit higher values though. In my very inaccurate quick-test (cotton burn test) I found that something around 0130 was more accurate for ss304.

I tried using the kanger ssocc in my subtank and it kept kicking out of temp mode .

Hm, SSOCC does refer to the housing, not the wire. As far as I know the wire is nichrome or kanthal, not SS.

They need to have a pink oring. If the oring is red, it is an SSOCC Nichrome coil

Very misleading on kangers part i'll be sure to pass that along i know a lot of people that will be very upset to know that.

One thing to note, M1-M3 seem to share the same "profile". While you can set the different TCRs for each memory spot, the lock (and thus coil info?) carries over between each. So if you lock one spot, all three are locked. This means that while this makes it easy to test different TCRs for the same build, if you switch builds it might error out to wattage mode unless you follow the proper procedure (unlock resistance, remove atty, switch to desired TC mode, replace cold atty, lock resistance).

It will take a little testing, but that's how I see it based on how the RX is sharing the resistance lock.

I just rewarded Wismec for their good deed, in a small way, by purchasing another RX200.

With TCR, this is now my favorite mod.

Just go int Temperature set mode and scroll thru the temps it will change to degrees C when you go past the limit for degrees F.

Your welcome, I can't keep track of all the non documented procedures on any of these new TC modes either.
It just amazes me they come out with major changes and provide no information on how to use the new features.

Oh - and I really love the fact that every new update puts the Mod back in 200 watts which is a bit of a surprise first thing in the morning.

Are you guys still having issue with Ti builds on the RX? I might be getting too ambitious, but I've been using a dual twisted Ti build. I feel like the resistance is reading lower than it should, and this may actually be a function of dual Ti coils. Anyway... it reads low, so it hits low, and is constantly hitting temp protection. I can fake a higher reading by firing it, re-establishing baseline (now at a higher resistance because the coil is warm), and getting results where I expect them to be. I guess with my DNA I've been over riding resistance. Is there a way to set the TCR with a dual Ti build such that it gets me in the range of where I think I should be (50w & 450F vs 50w & 570F）

one titanium not being twisted already has a lower resistance

because you mentioned something about the dna on your post,..

if yes,have you tried changing the tcr value?
if you are unser of what ti grade you are using better try both and observe
have you updated as well???

and what settings are you running?

updated....love how to switch between modes now....3 clicks then up or down button, makes it easier if going from watts to ss etc.
