I didn't even say if I liked it or not so try again.

How about you make a thread called 'is the new evic 1.3 update garbage?' and let people decide, instead of pretending that your opinion matters for everyone.

I was under the impression this forum was the place for me to voice my opinion. Maybe I was wrong. I can assure you, I could give 2 {EDIT} about whether you care for my opinion or not. I'm not here for you, I'm here for me. Until a mod tells me I am not allowed to express my opinion I will continue to do so. You don't like it? You can go elsewhere. I'm done with you now, goodbye.

Your understanding of context is horrible btw.

This. Doesn't matter if you're using an eVic or a Vamo. The same wattage across different resistances will always be different due to the varying degrees of coil contact. It has nothing to do with the firmware.

That is what I've been saying all along in different words. Except for "it has nothing to do with the firmware." Because it most certainly does. Their whole reasoning for making the wattage profiles is to use it for JUICES, not resistance or anything else. Hell, all they had to do was leave the voltage profiles as an option and I probably never would have written this post.

if your constant rambling is about no longer having MVR VV......... Look again. it is now called RVV - REAL TIME VARIABLE VOLTAGE
only 1 profile available.......But it is still there. It was NOT replaced, but WAS changes to accomodate VW Profiles since so many enjoy using VW modes.

HEX programs can only take up so much space on a chip.

RVV Changed MVR VV to RVV(realtime VV),set only 1 profile
Apple1 Changed MVR VW to 3 devided profiles, user can name the profile, set output parameter based on e-liquid flavor, both profile inport and export are available

i just updated to 1.3, like said above, it is all the same, they renamed the mvr vv to rvv with 1 profile, and rvw has 3 profiles. This change doesnt appeal to me, but its not bothersome either, i simple will continue using rvv. The stealth is handy especially cause i dont care about how many second the puff is, and the alarm i would find useful if i was trying to quit. Overall the update adds features for some, and keeps the old features as well. Now i want to see the volts go up to 6

I like how they moved sleep option to the top. clearly they been listening to us and I mentioned having sleep on top.
also I still dont get the guy was arguing about not have preset VV mode anymore. cant he just adjust wattage instead? wattage is more accurate anyway.
in VW mode the voltage is changed in 0.01W accuracy where in VV mode its 0.1V.

Well you are indeed entitled to your opinion and I am not going to argue against it. I for one enjoy the update.

I do, however, have some information/knowledge for you to think about.

For example, you like *.1 volt changes from what I gather. Well I hate to tell you that even if it (or any electronic device for that matter) states it is at 4.2V, I assure you that it is not at 4.2V exactly. A meter will show that is more likely ranging from 4.20V-4.29V. In a perfect world, it would be exactly 4.20V like you would want, but this isn't a perfect world unfortunately. Now granted, the eVic rounds up or down in VV due to it being *.1 increments, so it doesn't show this.

There are so many things that can factor into taste that no one answer is right or wrong. As someone stated, you can have two identical atomizer heads with the same resistances and materials, but taste different at the same Watts or Volts. This is something that is likely to always remain a problem.

Opinions are just that ... opinions. If someone doesn't like your opinion, don't crucify them for it (something everyone should learn at times, myself included).

You like volts. Cool, continue doing what you like to do. No one is telling you "do watts or die". If VV works for you, then use it. Plain and simple.

That's what I asked in a previous post was whether or not it would be the .* dead on or not. The VW would be great if it adjusted based on resistance like the VV did before instead of just 3 different profiles of VW that you have to manually select. My major gripe was they state that mode is for flavors. As I said, I can put the same flavor in different accessories at the same wattage at different resistances and get a different taste. Then a couple knuckleheads felt the need to tell me I was wrong and it will ALWAYS taste the same at the same wattage at different resistances. Which I already knew to be completely false.

Thank you for a constructive post.
