Papa if you keep at it, you are gonna be the cause of me spending money lol.. I really think after trying the RM4 that I like the smaller chambered atties. My fav is the Rm2 followed by the cyclone and igoS oh and the Eras.

Oh well, if you like those atties, you'll more than likely love an RM3, you'll have to get one!

For all you RM2 fans out there, you might just want to give the RM3 a go. It's 90% as easy as the RM2 to set up, and it's small chamber (the secret for flavour per the mod master himself) delivers flavour in volume with the added ooomph of a dual coil setup. The slide-on cap is also nice and tight, and less fiddly than the screw-on RM2 cap.

Unfortunately, my RM3 didn't turn out as well, I've moved back to the RM2 for now. I got mine in last week, and immediately drilled the hole to a 5/64" and added an additional one on the opposite side to help with the dual coil aspect. I'm a lung hit kind of guy, and it turned out perfect for me, the flavor kind of dropped unfortunately because of the larger holes, but the real killer for me is that for whatever reason, my RM3 is really loose. I like the idea of the slide-on cap, but it takes no effort whatsoever to come off the base, which scares me since I travel with it a lot. I may try swapping out the O-rings for some thicker ones though and see how that goes.

Before you go buying new o-rings you might want to just take off the o-ring that is on it and put a couple wraps of dental floss in the o-ring slot, then put the o-ring back on. This has helped alot of vapers out in a pinch...

That's a great idea, thank you! I really want to love this thing as much as my RM2, ha ha. :)

anyone who has the RM3 didn't drill an extra hole? I don't own a drill and even if I did, I know I'd destroy it.

The 3 post version of the RM3 already has 2 holes, no need to drill. I don't know about the single coil version, but I imagine it has 2 posts and 1 hole.

OH-didn't even know that there's 2 versions of the RM3  UGH-confusing. I'd like to try the one that can be a single or dual coil and fits the LP, if there's such a thing.

Oh, and not have to drill it if I don't have to....I ask for a lot apparently LOL

The thing is made of Stainless too, which is really nice, but makes it extra fun. My power drill was dead so I spent a half hour trying to get through it with a hand drill (I'm persistent/stupid), but finally gave up and just brought it to one of the machinists at the shop where I work, lol.

I got the RM3 Dual Coil version (3 posts) and it only came with 1 hole..... May have just been a shipping error. Either way, it has two now, ha ha. :)

Yeah, there's 2 versions of the RM3. Both will fit an LP, so there's that.

If you really want the option of single or dual coils, the ideal setup would be the RM3 base and both a single coil version cap (if you could get it separately - it has only one air hole) and a dual coil version cap. That might be overkill.

Not sure what the vape would be like running a single with a dual version cap (with two holes), but I'm thinking it wouldn't be bad - prolly give you the widest range of possibilities for the simplest amount of gear (occam's razor).

I originally thought the single coil RM3 would have 2 posts, but I have read it has 3 posts, the same as the dual coil RM3 (and same as the pics on Rob's website). In that case, the only difference is the caps, one cap has one air hole, the other cap has two air holes. There is a good chance Rob would sell spare caps so a person could buy the one they don't have to enable single or dual coils.

ETA - I've been using the A6 (RM3) for a while now with a single coil and am very impressed with it to say the least. The ones I got had nice firm but not too tight orings and its just a pleasure to clean, rewick or rebuild the coil. The flavor is well-balanced and the vapor production is good. I was impressed right from the first toke.

Thanks again for the advice, I tried the floss trick in the O-Ring grooves and it worked PERFECTLY. It makes that lovely snap sound when it slides in to place, no wobble, and definitely makes me feel more confident when I put it in my pocket now. You, my friend, saved me a trip to the hardware store; thank you, ha ha. :)

The RM3 is kicking my .... tonight with 28g dual coil build, coming in a .4 ohms. Cotton wicks with Boba's Bounty. I think it's the most flavor I've ever experienced, almost too much, but I'll try it in the morning and see what it's like.

When I first got it I tried to build on it, but had a much harder time than with the RM2. It's just enough smaller that I really struggled. Took it to work and handed it over to BlaqueJezus, so he could mess with it, as he's had more experience with various RBAs than I have. He built the build I'm vaping tonight, and it's vaping really well. Plenty of vapor and flavor.

I know, right? Wondrous little things.

On a side note, I got a single coil version today in an order. There is, indeed only one hole and it's bigger than either of the two holes on the dual version.

One other note - the o-rings on the single coil version appear to be a tad thinner than on the dual coil version. They are a different colour (white as opposed to red on my two units) and the cap is much looser with the white rings on the single.

I know there have been some comments about the looseness which I wondered about since my original dual cap fit so snuggly.
