1st 24 HRS No Analogs - 24mg @ 3.3 too HARSH! Any Suggestions?

After 30 years of smoking 1.5 pks/day of Marlboro Lights - I'm done. No urge to smoke analogs. Now trying to find something that resembles Marlboro Lights - any suggestions?

Equipment:

• New innokin itaste MVP (LOVE IT!)
• Dekang Marlboro e-liquid 24mg
• CE5 Atomizers
• Using 3.3 for Marlboro 24mg too harsh

I tried the Minty Chocolate flavor / ultra high nicotine from Dekang and can vape nicely at 3.7 - tastes great! Vanilla is also good but would like a Marlboro Light!!

I would suggest not using a tobacco flavor at first - they probably aren't going to satisfy as they can't truly replicate the flavor of a burning cigarette. I have never heard a good word about Dekang - some people might like it.

Short answer - try a different e-juice. Luckily it looks like there are several brick and mortars around you that probably stock some decent e-juice. Buy Electronic Cigarette in Burlington Kentucky

Congrats on your first day! If you're getting a harsh, burny taste, you might have to adjust your voltage. Its more about the ohms of your atomizer than the nicotine level of your juice. Just mess around with the volts a bit & see if that helps

Thanks Scott - I really appreciate the advice. I will talk to a shop owner, I think they will actually let you try different flavors. Dekang was cheap nand approved by the FDA so I figured I would give it a whack as a newbie. This is a start a brand new adventure! Thanks again.

Welcome to ECF, I agree with Scott but I guess everybody is different. I was able to completely quit staying away from tobacco juices, like you, I smoked analogs for 35 years ( Marlboro lights and Parliaments) and was able to flat out quit using a caramel and coconut flavor juice (which I still vape daily) at 18mg (down to 8mg now). IMO, find a juice that you like that is not tobacco flavor and stick with it for a while.

For a lighter Tobacco taste and lower nic to reduce Harshness:

10ml of E-Liquid, Tobacco, Medium, 11mg

Always amazed at people down talking the largest e-liquid manufacturer in the world. Dekang may not be for everyone but then again the same can be said for any e-liquid company.

For me the trick to a tobacco vape
was to lower the nic level.
At 24mg nic a tobacco juice will punch
your throat like Mike Tyson.

Try using a 12mg nic tobacco juice.

Flavor is subject to each in its own.
I say it's Marlboro Lights you say Camel
Flavor you will have to experiment.
Buy a few samples from a good vendor.

Try Goodlifevapor or MBV great juices.

Charge up and enjoy.

Yes, best M-light is from MyFreedomSmokes.com...USLight. Very nice. I don't vape tobacco any more, but when I started I liked this enough to order 120 mils. Wife thought so too. Taste is subjective, so it's hard to recommend. Found this by ordering the MFS tobacco sampler pack. Wife still vapes the desert ship, with some sweeteners. We now DIY. best to you!

Personally after quitting analogs it took me about a day for my lungs to adjust to the vapor of my 36mg menthol juice. Maybe just give it sometime?

If its just a harsh vape no matter what you do, then yeah, you might want to try a different juice. Check out the eliquid discussion forum on here; you'll get A LOT of information & recommendations

I was never able to find a liquid that tasted like my brand and now I don't want to, yuck!!!!, True taste is subjective so just ask around and by the smallest Bottle you can until you know if you like it. Good luck and happy vaping

Try cutting it with vg available at Walmart at 50% Marlboro and 50% vg liquid start with a small amount 5 ml total 2.5 ml Marlboro and 2.5 ml vg it will cut down your nic level to 12mg and lighten up the taste.

Try the Gamel from Alien Visions. Go down on the nic level. 12mg/18mg. I think you will be pleasantly surprised. They are open and in stock right now.

You can also use a couple of drops of distilled water but I have yet to try that method. Check out the DIY section lots of great tips there

I got a bottle of "Chesterfield" flavor at 24mg and it about knocked my throat out. I added 5ml of Walmart Glycerine to the 30ml of juice, let it steep for a couple of days and found it much easier. Now it's about two weeks old and quite nice.

Adding Wally's VG is a surefire way of improving a harsh-tasting Dekang juice. However, their Desert Ship flavor is awesome right out of the mailbox.
