Hello hello! It's so great to see you here! I have to admit, when you said earlier your an RN4075 vaper, I just knew that you were going to love these 901's. 4075's were my Very first vaping experience from sweet Katy and ultimately made me quit smoking from the first hit. The 2.0 901 was originally meant to preform just like the 4075, just a bit more sturdier of longevity. I'm so excited that your loving it!!! Thank you!!

yep it is PERFECT issac!! i love it.. all i have to do is take a short little drag and get a ton of vapor, versus sucking on a straw with my old attys. thank you so much. I ordered more already lol.

vapormadness, yes i got an 801 LR from issac with the same order, but i haven't tried it yet. i have some BE112's here but i don't vape 801 too often.

issac i absolutely love that i can count on quality parts when i order from you. that's getting harder and harder to do ;)

The 801 shortie is 1.22 inches high and .448 diameter at the base
I use 6 drops to prime and reload with 4
I have had them for a couple months, actually killed one but that was my own fault,

The 801 regular length is 1.976 inches high and the same .44 at the base .

I dont have the medium height one to measure it.

Hope it helps :)

They are different,
I prefer the short ones myself, you may like the others. All drip tips dont work on the short one but I have found some that do.

The medium and long ones will work with any 801 drip tip.

The short ones the actual coil and burner are very close to the top of the atty, the longer the atty the more recessed the coil is in it.

This does make a difference in the feel of it .

The 801 has a huge coil compared to the 901. Really big, which produces more vapor ,
TH I think is more about the juice you are using , but flavor has a lot to do with the atty,

The lr 901 produces good flavor but not as much vapor, The 801 produces huge amounts of vapor and keeps the good flavor of the 901,

Your opinion may vary of course , but generally this is what people experience.

Quote from IKENVAPE Stock update thread 8/24/10 post # 26:

"While our new 801 2.0Ω Mini's have been a wild success and with our good friend Vaporologist. We decided to kick it up another notch! We have currently constructed an 801 Mini to be Drip Tip compatible!"

End of quote

I have some 801 delrin drip tips on order. Do all drip tips work with the current Mini?

I'm getting a tad confused here. Hey, I'm post half century what can you do.

To clarify: Ikenvape site - IKV LR 801 2.0Ω Mini Atomizer = "shorty" and not completely drip tip compatible.

Ikenvape site -IKV HV/LR 801 2.5Ω Semi Atomizer = "medium" and completely drip tip compatible.

The quote from Isaac's supply update states the Mini (= "shorty") is drip tip compatible.

Is my supposition correct? Or , is there a different 801 atty that is not currently available at Ikenvape?

Actually there are 2 smaller 801s, both of them can use a drip tip, but the shortest one, can only use certain drip tips, not all

the next shortest one can use all drip tips.

It is a bit confusing LOL> I have the shortest 801. I have a drip tip that does work on it ,
but the drip tip I have, has a shorter insertion part into the atty then the usual drip tip does
you just have to be a little aware when buying one and make sure to get the right one is all.

Also be aware that the short 801s are a dripping only atty. They cant use a cart.
The cap mouthpiece that comes with them are fine to use in place of a drip tip too.

the long 801 can use a cart or a drip tip either one, I just prefer the short ones.

I've only used the full size 801

The 801 has a huge coil compared to the 901. Really big, which produces more vapor ,
TH I think is more about the juice you are using , but flavor has a lot to do with the atty,

The lr 901 produces good flavor but not as much vapor, The 801 produces huge amounts of vapor and keeps the good flavor of the 901,

That's been my experience with them too. I would imagine the shorter the tube the warmer the vapor when it hits your mouth.

Isaac did tell me about an 801mini cart MOD that makes a 'cart' with decent capacity out of the whistle tip, but I haven't tried it.

Also, seems like with the "semi" size it could be possible to cut a full size cart down to fit, but I haven't tried that either.

Hey progg, I really suggest maybe getting one of each just to see them and try them in person. In the looks department I feel that the semi looks much better since it doesn't have the black ring in the bottom. Now, I haven't tried the LR Semi, I've tried the LR Mini at 3.7V and the Semi 3.5 ohm at 6V. Theoretically the LR Mini should hit harder then the LR Semi at 3.7V since the Mini is 2.0ohm and the Semi is 2.5ohm. But, since the Semi is just a few mm longer, you can use and Drip tip / Ttip you'd like. Everyone's opinion is subjective to their personal taste and preferences, you can't go wrong by trying them both IMO.
