All it took was the magic words....lol..hi, @Vera
Present and accounted for, Ma'am!Hello? Anyone here??
Just me, and a few others.Hello? Anyone here??
Usernames from a company are often filled in by several people. Sorry about that.Well, in the PMs to me from Vera, they were signed Evan....... So unless you know a girl named Evan......
We think so, but if she's the one, she's lost all of her babies... without knowing how many or if any (they never hatch just one, then lose it). We have some really nasty roosters, though, but even if they chased mama away, she would come back looking for the babies, and when we took this baby outside again, she showed no interest. This has both of us scratching our heads...Rich"..did you find the mama yet?
I'm here, but I'm hidden.I think since this group stayed the longest:

Just replying here because I love your tag line "... part of the precipitate." Classic!yup - been watching this thread most of the evening...
Ever since we have had the two Pyrs here, we have lost no chickens to foxes or coyotes. That is not to say that if one of the roosters was chasing mama around the horse corral (all our chickens are free range), one or more of the cats might have had chick snacks. But neither of us ever saw any other chicks except the lost one we brought in last night.Think something got mama and the other chicks?
Insomnia.....a real pita isn't it?Vera takes lunch breaks about the time I try to get comfy and relax
