So, I'm not exactly new, but still not very experienced and wasn't at all sure where to post this!
I've had a Bolt for a few months now, and a few days ago the button stopped working entirely (I'm aware that this CAN be fixed, but as I stated before, I'm not very experienced... Especially with the inner workings of e-cigs!). So, while I wait for my new Bolt to come in the mail, I stopped in at a local Rite-Aid and picked up a cheap 21st Century Smoke kit. Feels weird using something so light again! I bought the menthol kind, and it is terrible. Tastes like cough drops. So, when I got home I tried emptying the carto and putting in my own liquid, but of course I still mostly just taste cough drops. I noticed the threading was similar to my 510s, and decided to see if they would fit... But the kit is a bit wider than my 510s. If I hold the 510 carto down on the battery, I can actually get vapor, though (better vapor than the cartos that came with produce at that)! Worth the effort for the flavor!
Am I going to do any serious damage or blow up the battery doing this? If not, can anyone think of a way to hold it in so I don't have to hold it down every time? I don't mind ruining a carto for it if necessary, they're pretty cheap. Thanks!

Sorry , not at all familiar with the device your trying to use . But when you do finally get your new Bolt , get some sort of reliable back-up . If something goes south on your new Bolt , you'll have something to fall back on , extra batteries , and even a spare battery charger , is not a bad idea .

Joye eGo Twist comes to mind for back up.

I actually have a couple extra batteries and a couple chargers, my previous e-cigs all had the batteries and chargers fail after about 2 months so that I was actually prepared for! My plan is to either buy a spare Bolt in the next few months or a couple simple 510 batteries that I can just hook up with my cartos until I get something better. We'll see how long this Bolt lasts before I decide whether I want to try something else... I do absolutely adore the Bolt, though!
