Why has trog one of ECFs longest serving and informative members been banned..???????????
I don't come here much as its to fast for me but i used to like reading Trogs posts? He spoke lots of sense and was very informative. He seemed to know exactly what he was talking about so why has he been banned?
Why on earth would a forum ban someone with such knowledge that can help folks?

The only people who can answer this with certainty are the mods and possibly Trog himself, but I can take an educated guess.

As informative as Trog may be, he's never given a rat's ... about the rules of the forum where supplier/manufacturer posting is concerned. He constantly posts in the New Member's forum, 'promotes' his device in general chat, and occasionally posts in other vendor's forums... all of which are violations. While he may not 'intentionally' go out of his way to break them, he certainly hasn't ever tried to adhere to them either.

The only thing that surprises me is that it didn't happen sooner. When I was a moderator here I had to "correct" him several times.

He wants to play by his own rules, and not those established for all. It was bound to catch up to him sooner or later.

Honestly?

Go read some of his posts man, the guy was a dink to most everyone. Rude, crass and irrational posts were made by him all the time. I too am surprised he lasted as long as he did.

arrogance, ego, here way too long,, and couldn't adjust to the change of how it was to how it is... couldn't handle loosing recognition for contributions made to the ecig world... has been or never was....

just guesses I can understand how one can be "pushed over the edge" figuratively speaking... from what I have seen... trog is like him/hate him kind of person..... who knows if his ban will be lifted or not,,, but I am sure he will be forgotten by many,, not known by more,,,, and remembered by few....

IMO I really don't care either way and by the looks of it not sure if he does either....

any way enough of my idle banter hehe

Suppliers are limited to where they can post. It's stated in the TOS here and every supplier is expected to know where they can post and where they can't, especially if they have been here well over a year!

Go look at Trog's post history and you will see why he was banned.
