Ok, I give up. What is a button top? All those pictures above have little protrusions on the positive end... isn't that a button top?

Button top means it looks like a normal + top on a battery. The AW 18650 battery comes with a flat topped instead.

The AW High Drain batteries come with a button top like normal batteries.

Alright I didn't go to bed last night. Vapped on this hardcore all day, and all night long. It is 4:40AM

Installed about 2:30-3:00 at 4.19v
At 10:45PM it had dropped down to 3.6v
now at 4:40AM it's reading 3.19v

I have been chain vapping on this more or less on the DBSB with 801s for the most part. Few times I had a 510 installed on it.

It's still hitting nice, and is giving a smooth hit on the DBSB. IDK how much it can go, but I could install a fresh one if I wanted a bigger hit.

So this leaves me with IDK I still really like this battery, and it is lasting a very long time. I guess no matter if you have a normal battery, or a high drain battery you still want to change them out for a new one in the morning.

I would still highly rate this battery off first impressions of it.

Ok first of all, Thanks DaMulta for this research!

Although I'm still a bit skeptical this battery will really function better than a standard Ultrafire 18650 3000Mah. It does sound like you are getting a good voltage reading over a long period of time. Of course the 18650's are already known for their stellar drain times and longevity.

DaMulta, your videos are great. How about a youtube vid comparing standard 18650's to these new ones?

That would be awesome! :)

I might pick up one of these if they ever come back in stock. I also need the spacer for my 2600mAh AW and can't seem to find one anywhere else that is small enough. Then I can test both of the AW's out. The lifepo4 r123's work great. Although I'm playing it safe and charging them every 5 hours because I don't want to over discharge them and lose my only working SB batteries =P

Here you go Kelemvor. Background music is Turn, Turn, Turn by the Byrds. DaMulta is sitting in a recliner in a dimly lit room. Directly behind him the curtains are cracked with the daylight providing that beam-of-blinding-light-from-the-heavens backlight directly into the camera. As the video progresses DaMulta gradually disappears in the clouds of vapor that fill the room (maybe a good thing, he doesn't look as good as he does in his avatar). That's about it. :)
