I use IFR 14250 batteries. They're only 200 mah but get me through half of a 3ml bottle. 2.5 cart on top and it'll knock your socks off.

Jack

thanks Jack.. I might just try that first. But the extra mah of the 270 would be nice.

Iv never run a cart. Running 5.5v on a LR306 at the moment. wow

The IFR 14250's are all I use in my Mini's (3 of them) and I love them all those other batts require modifying the insides of your mod and seems very unnecessary for such a slight increase in batt life! I run 2 Mini's during the day with 3.0 ohm cartos (soon to be fitted with a hornet and a Surface) on them and carry 4 xtra sets which I rarely use more then 1 set in each YMMV:)

Yea, you guys are right.. But now looking.. My pila charger doesnt charge 3v IFR's:facepalm: Only 3.7 IMR

Any recommendations on a quality IFR charger? Or could I run two AW 14250's and high ohm atty?

I own 3 of these chargers and love them and use them every day. What do you mean not so kind?

Found here.. post #2

The XTAR chargers do not begin tapering the charge current until the cell OC voltage is ~4.20 Volts. This negates any advantage of the CV stage of a proper charging algorithm, and likely causes some degree of cell damage. Most of the other inexpensive chargers also do this, but in a slightly different way, such as the WF-139. Does this method allow fully charging cells faster? Yes. Is it good for the cells? No.

I decided to buy a few twists.. fail.. Then just ordered a provari and goodies so sticking with IMR's and a reomini at work for now.

Out of all the chargers out there that will charge the 14250's the MP2 seems to work the best IMO and I've used a few :)

I imagine they charge just fine.. But what that other dude said is they don't decrease amps at the end of the charge which could decrease battery cycle's.

Iv decided to remain at 3.7 unprotected on my pila and forget about any battery smaller than 18mm round. Then coil my own 1 ohm rba's. I like the reo grand but wonder how many watts the switch can handle.

I run 12+ watts on all my Reos with no problems and most juices can't handle any more then that
