No. Cal.
Reos!! Can’t say that I’ve tried any other Squonk er since I found Reos 5 years ago but haven’t felt a need to. I’m content. They keep on working. Made in USA. Authentic. Great customer service and a dynamite and supportive Forum.

I’ve been digging the Origen 16 for years and have recently shared my love with NaRDA.

Bottom line is that I am grateful that we aren’t giving our opinions about Menthol, Ultra-light, Filtered, etc. Life is good! Vape on!

I'm still here on ECF... sort of. ;)

Sigh. I don’t wonder why ECF has become a virtual ghost town.

Kurious, me, Madame Loud. Might you expand on that thought?

Bestie bud and I have discussed this many a time and oft, and just today realized that lately there have been far fewer than 100 members actively engaged on a regular basis on our little hideaway forum.

Other vape related forums I ran at one time are about the same... the old crew is mostly long gone and their only spark left is the noobs. Seems to be the fate of forums that are based on a fad that will eventually run it's course.

Some of the other interest specific e-lists/forums I used to run as far back as in the 80's from a wide variety of different interest areas are still going strong today... in part because they are not based on fads.

I believe the ECF is still active, lots of newer members. But the number of Forums and Threads has expanded considerably as Vaping has become more diversified.
Regarding social media versus forums, I don't see the big loss. Yeah, participation is down, yet quality remains in my view.

Social media is where all the litter is now. I've been participating in a number of forums for years now. But to me the changes have been the loss of drama has been replaced with a library atmosphere. The din of a crowded cafeteria has been replaced with a calm, quiet atmosphere where researching is easier.

The questions are now at fakebook group pages where they belong. The folks that still use forums as a rule do a bunch of research and in their posts say things like "I have searched and come up empty, please help" instead of "fix my car for me" posts that show up on social media instead.

Bestie bud and I have discussed this many a time and oft, and just today realized that lately there have been far fewer than 100 members actively engaged on a regular basis on our little hideaway forum.
I've participated in this forum since 2012. Participation has both waxed and waned over that period of time.

I believe a lot of visitors silently "lurk" around here for information and don't actively participate in threads. Many don't join as a member.

I agree that Face Book groups may have become more popular than forums like ECF. But ECF is still the best place to find fact-based information on vaping. Many if not most Google searches for anything vape related will direct inquiries to ECF. One negative issue may be ECF has grown so large in scope that it may be difficult to find the information desired, and the search function on ECF is severely lacking. Google is MUCH better. ECF could probably do a better job of "sticky"ing the more basic, important information; the sticky's available haven't been updated in years.

As one example, a "sticky" on batteries needs to be in the New Members forum. That's where all new members start out and is the most common question asked. And arguably the most important.

My brain comes at it from different directions. For instance, I make the distinction between true facts and facts that could have been true, but aren't.

The way I look at it is there are some things I know, some I think I know and some I don't know.

Then last is reasonably easy to identify and deal with.

The first two can be tricky. In my experience, how we deal with distinguishing between these two makes a big difference in how successful we are.

Back on topic ...

I forgot about my Reo Grand. I love that mod. Thought about selling it a couple of years back since I wasn't using it anymore and someone might really appreciate it, but it wasn't worth much at the time and if the vapeocalipse ever actually happens I would really regret that decision. I should really check out my spare parts for it and order anything I might need while I can still get them.

Can't make it one of my faves for the last year, but it is definitely a favorate backup mod in my collection

I might have been to early on this. Got myself a late birthday/early christmas present: THE DICODES DANI BOX MINI:)
And it kicked the Lostvape Paranormal 75c off it's throne. The dani box is kind of a diva, when it comes to tc, but when it works... Ohhh man:thumbs:
So: -1 Paranormal 75c, +1 dicodes dani box mini :vapor:

I just discovered a pod that I really like. I'm really liking this genre of pods shaped like a flashdrive without the fire button. I'm going to try a few but thusfar my initial choice of the Renova Zero by Vapresso has the bar raised pretty high.

It's pretty dawg gone close to providing a same experience to my favorite coffin nail, only tastes a lot better.
