That's pretty much it. I want a pipe--for when I work.

I have several DSE 901s laying around.
I have several 'real' pipes laying around.
Neither are being used because I have a bunch of JOYE 510's.

I think I'll pull one of the stems out of an old pipe--bore the bowl out a little (I want a tight fit) and shove a DSE 901 in there.

Wouldn't that make it a mini pipe?

Easy to work on...easy to charge battery--just pull the battery out, unscrew it from the 901 and screw it into the charger. Same with the atomizer. ....I think the cartridge might be a little--unusual--but still workable.;)

What do you all think? I mean--just because I didn't 'buy' it as a pipe doesn't make it any less of a pipe...does it?

Yeal...........I'm gonna give it a shot.

bye!:)

Here's what I've done so far;

I got one of my straight stem pipes. I took a 901 battery and tried to push inside the bowl 'stem'. Too tight to get in. I took a dremal (sp?) clone....that's one of those moto tools with a different name. Then I attached a cylinder shaped bit into my tool and grinded it out from the inside. Fits fine.

I can't advise trying to drill one out. Seems like I remember the entire pipe is a little fragel when it comes to internal pressure.

My batteries are charging. Back later.

I was thinking something similar. I figured one of the little rechargeable batteries you see in mods all the time would fit well in the bowl. Then I would take off the plastic mouthpiece, and fit an old battery top to the end of the bowl stem. I want to put some leds in the top of the bowl, tied into the circuit and have a switch on the side. I have yet to do this because I am severely lazy, but I have been mulling it over since seeing the commercial ones... Good for you for doing it!
