I just tried the cap filling method Leaford and am thrilled! I'm a newbie so am needing advice. How many times can I refill before I need to wash and/or toss the carts?
I'm pretty new myself but I'm gonna try and tackle this question anyway from a lot of what I've read.
I think the re-use is a personal preference. I've read some posts where people don't re-use at all (prefer brand new fresh cart) and I've read some posts where people have re-used up to 20 times. I think the average time (from what I've read so far is between 2 and 8 re-uses)
In my personal experience, the cart's seem to vary in "re-use" life. I have some that I have re-used twice and then the performance didn't seem to be as good so I tossed them, but I also have one that I have re-used 8 times and it's still going strong! (was originally a cowboy cart that came as a bonus in my first order) I used to just drip ~ but I've recently started boiling and some of them have EXCELLENT re-use life after boiling and some not so much. Also, I did not boil any of my carts that I've been using the same juice in and that are performing well....the only ones I boiled were one's that I wanted to change flavors in or were not performing to my personal satisfaction.
I recommend you experiment a bit, and I believe you'll find a niche that suits you well. If you need help about boiling carts there was a thread started over the weekend and I could try and direct you to it if you'd like.

I only wash if I am drastically changing flavors. 99% of the time I just refill with same or similar flavor. I have never had to toss a cartomizer yet. As long as the atomizer keeps working, I keep it in rotation.
As long as you don't vape them dry, you can keep them going a long, long time. I kept a cart going for over two weeks once.
I got ya beat leaford! I'm going on 7 weeks of straight use with a cart and still going strong! Great demo!

So, I tried the condom refill trick on a non-premium carto and it didn't go so well. I filled the condom cap a little less than half-way full with black-tea juice and slowly pushed it onto the mouth-piece end of a mostly empty carto. All of the juice went into the carto and I gave it a Taryn-Spin, then let it sit for about 20 minutes before vaping. The problem is that I am getting nic juice in my mouth on nearly every vape. Am I missing something? None the less, it was a great video.
OMG...AWESOME!!! This is going to save so much time! I just used one of my blank, never filled cartos with this method and I will let it set overnight and use it tomorrow for sure. Thank you so much Leaford for doing this video cause this is pretty awesome. Fingers crossed, I don't get any juice in my mouth tomorrow, hehe.

1. 35mm film can (holds 3 cartos, free from any film processing store)
2. old camera, phone wrist leash, or buy one (cheap)
3. poke a hole near the top and thread the leash through
4. spin
heh...... all cartos vape fine now.

Do folks prefer to refill when almost empty or to keep topping off? Thanks to the excellent Leaford refilling/spinning video I'm ready to try it but I'm wondering if there is a preference for one way or the other and a good reason for that preference. Anyone? Bueller? Thanks in advance.
