OMG are you 12????? People need to know these things....someone asked someone aswered. Thats the whole point to a "forum". No one asked you to read this post....if it bothers you so much, change the channel....DUH!!!!
Goddess forbid I made a damn joke.. Cool down will ya'??

This forum does not always need to be completely serious all the time.. All you need to do is look at other threads to see that...

And sure, I am 12 and have been chain smoking for 32 years... Wonder how that is possible...

I've been off analogs five days now, vaping 12 days. I am getting nausus when sleeping and up until around noon. Nasty gas, then diahria most of the day.
Please tell me this will subside soon! I love being off analogs, have a lot of stress/family things going on in my personal life and really want this to work, but...................

Going on 3 weeks of vaping, with maybe 2 analogs a day now.

Dry mouth during vaping. No big deal, I need more water in my diet.

Sense of smell has returned, and gets better every day. Dammit, now I have to clean the apartment because this place reaks! It smells worse every day. My diet of fast food has also taken a dive as I can tell what I ate later.

Acne.. *maybe* a slight return, but I've always had one or two spots.

I have been having more vivid dreams lately.. and not the good kind. When I was on the patch I used to have super detailed dreams. On analogs I'd rarely dreams. We wont get into my last two dreams.. they scared the xxxx out of me.

My nose itched like hell one day, but that may have been work related.

Taste hasn't returned yet, and I'm still barely able to tell the difference between flavors. The smell and aftertaste is the only thing that sets them apart.

Sex drive is overcharged.. could be the fact that my fiance left me 3 days before I started vaping though.. and this cute little brunette is xxxxing amazing.. but we wont get into that either.

I stay up later at night, but this could also be due to unemployment and lack of girlfriend. I get the same amount of sleep as I used to.

BUT... I must say.. going from a pack and a half a day average, then 2+ packs a day when the fiance left me for a 19yo boy.. getting the e-cig that same week cut me down to a pack a week instantly. That must say something! The only time I'll use an analog now is when I haven't been able to vape for a couple of hours and need to play "catch-up" with my nicotine.

I'm having symptoms after 5 days of drastically cutting my analogue cigs... vaping is a lifesaver! I'm noticing the tiniest changes, I breath a bit deeper. My senses are beginning to emerge as if freed from a term of languish in captivity beneath my perception. And I'm a bit light headed... not nauseated or real bad headache. But, the point is, your post has been so helpful to me. Thank you!

I have been vaping for about a month plus now. I have had a spike in my blood pressure
recently. Has anyone had this problem. I did not read all the posts here, so if I am being
repetitive, sorry. Hope it isn't the vaping.

My blood pressure went down when I switched to vaping. I went from 160/100 to 145/90. Then I got on HBP meds and now I float around 120/75. Exercise helps a whole lot with HBP problems, along with changing your diet.

Remember, ANY nicotine source will mess with your blood pressure. There's no way around that. If you don't want to quit using the drug, then you'll have to change your diet and at least go for 20 min. swift walks every day. (even though we lazy humans should be doing that already)

The only things I have noticed is a feeling of a coating on my tongue that limits my ability to really taste the flavors I vape. I really think this is from the pg/vg cuts. I probably would be fine to vape the flavorless and add a drop or two of flavor and call it done. No coughing, sneezing, headaches, cravings, weight loss/gain, no irratability(sp), just walking around with my pacifier(e-cig). I have been waiting for the tell all signs that I have quit smoking and started vaping, but still waiting. I did have to up my nic level in order to quit the .... logs, though.
I walked 2 miles before quitting and still do the two miles, I like to go kayak fishing and look forward to a day real soon to see how I feel when I come up that damn hill pulling my kayak behind me. Hope I can breathe after the haul.
I don't wake up with that sticky feeling in my throat anymore-Now that is wonderful!

I started vapeing a little over a week ago, and though I have enjoyed the device thus far, the side effects are starting to turn me away.

I quit smoking for 2 years using Chantix, and I had no side effects (Acne, coughing, etc) when I quit. I was a pack a day smoker, and Chantix worked really well for me. The hardest part was breaking the habit for sure though. I didnt know what to do with myself after eating food. The only thing that I want to point out here is that I had none of the side effects some are describing here as causes of quitting smoking. Things like acne, coughing, heavy chest, etc.

I very recently started analog again, and I realized that I needed to stop asap or I would be back to a pack a day. I ran into an e-cig ad and thought I would give this a shot. I ordered the DSE-901 and the JOYE510 in order to compare them. I am a menthol smoker, so I ordered the additional menthol E-juice for ea e-cig as well.

After using both brands of e-cig, I definitely prefer the JOYE510, and the e-juice that comes with the JOYE510 (from cig-not) is MUCH better then the stuff I got from Rocky Mountain. The Rocky Mountain stuff straight up makes me sick, and I dont know what the cause is. The only unscientific data I have is that the rocky mountain menthol vapor has a much stronger fog machine smell, so the PG content may just be a lot higher.

As far as side effects go, I may not be able to vape much longer since I am getting more issues every day. The good news about this is I have lost interest in smoking entirely since my lungs feel like someone is standing on them for the first 6 to 8 hours of every day. I wake up every day wheezing, something that I never did before vapeing, or when I quit smoking last, and this is most definitely a direct side effect of the vapeing material. All of the information I have read points to PG as the cause. I am not sure if VG will have the same outcome or not, though I have ordered some VG e-juice to find out.

It took about 5 days for my lungs to finally give in to the PG, and I am expecting this feeling to clear out within a couple days of me quitting the vape. I am hoping the VG juice is kinder to me, but I am ready to accept that vaping just isnt going to work for me.

Hello Again, My blood pressure is back to normal now, I had a stressor
come in on me about the time it spiked, and realized I had to talk to
myself some about calming down. Think this was the attribute and not
the vaping that did it.

PDX hope you get your problem resolved. I've had a bit of question on the PG myself. I "hope" that I am doing my body a favor by changing from alalogs.

Yes, the exercise is something I could use a lot more of....my activity has slowed recently, and today, shivering in the cold was about all the exercise/bodily movement for today. Brrrr below freezing here!

Hello,
I wanted to put this in a new thread, but can't since I'm too new. What I'm wondering is if anyone has done a study on the exhaled vapor content. Does it still contain nicotine?

I read an ad for one e-cig or another that stated a grandma couldn't wait to be around her grandchildren more because she could "smoke" around them. I puked a little in my mouth as the e-liquid still contains nicotine and I'm assuming this isn't all ingested when the vapor is inhaled.

Any thoughts or studies?

Oddly enough, when I smoked I didn't need BP meds, but every time I quit, after 6 weeks, I had to go back on my meds. BP just went up without cigs. After I started vaping, I went 6 months, almost to the day without my BP going up, but it did, now I'm back on BP meds. Go figure.

Nicotine can raise BP. But, one time when I started smoking again after several years not smoking, my BP dropped, so doc took me off the meds.

Lots of things can cause BP changes, keep an eye on it.

That's interesting. I have always had low BP, 9x/6x until recently, since I started vaping. But I never checked it when I tried to quit smoking in the past.

I'm not sure if it would really make a difference for you. Please let me know how that VG mix goes anyway. I find this interesting.

So far all my e-juice is PG based. I'm wanting to try VG as well and see how that goes. I have noticed the oxygenated PG mixtures produce more fog and give a better nicotine kick. So, I'm wondering if I could find some oxygenated VG mixtures.

The ........ and nausea can have a couple of causes. It could be nicotine withdrawal or too much nicotine. I got ........ (mild) when I first started (over in about a week). It came back again but was caused by the flu.

Check the internet. ........ CAN be symptom of the nicotine being too high. Maybe lower the nic content in your ejuice and see if that helps. I started with 32mg ejuice and am down to about 12mg and have no problems with anything.

well i have been vaping for over 2 months now and am very glad to be off of analogs. I have difficulty breathing right after i vape and a nasty case of acid reflux other than that i used to get sores in my mouth if i filled the cart wrong, but no longer an issue. glad to taste and smell again. damn... why didnt i know i smelled so bad!!! those cigs stink. well, i have also noticed that i can drop the ecig and not use it at all for days now, but then sometimes i vape constantly. i have been using the JC juice and a few of them give me worse heart burn than others i would say it may have something to do with the flavorings that people use in it. i think im going to try some unflavored stuff and see what happens. Oh almost forgot my right shoulder is extremely sore. seems to be happening to alot of people. interesting... well i cant go back to cigs cardiomyopathy patient here. we should all just quit inhaling any chemicals. that would be the safest way to go, but thats not going to happen is it.
