OK these mods are getting out of hand. Wow. Pleasant experience with cig-alikes from a habitual mod buyer/user.

Looked into, but not interested in, the eRoll.

90 mAh = not anywhere near long enough for me, even with the PCC.

You can't store a spare battery or extra cartos in the PCC.

Less than 1 mL of juice in the tank.

Need blunt needle caps to use. Not everyone has those, or knows where to find them.

Volts are super easy to use. If you get the pre-filled cartos, all you have to do is screw the battery in and start vaping immediately. Since I only get blank Volt cartos, you have to prime them first, but it's so easy.

Well, pretty much the concensus of those who are using them is that the battery could actually be smaller in order to allow for a larger cart. The 90mah battery never goes dead during the day if used as intended. Remember, you don't have to take the battery apart to put in the pcc, you dont' have to press any buttons to start it charging, etc, so it is just a quick movement to put it in and take it out to vape.

Power and Portability. 3.7V GLV super mini, 1.5 ohm HH357, shorty SS drip tip and a U-Can w/ 10ml capacity. Way smaller than a PCC and with a 750 mAh battery, it lasts a whole day.

Yeah, but you wont be dangling that one from your lips and I would say not much smaller than the pcc - maybe in length it is smaller, but in width? No. Thickness? Looks to be thicker.

But that is a good solution for portability for sure.

Wonder about the U-can- I have heard many reports of leaks after a month or two. How long have you had it and have you had any leaking?

i had a "fun" night out with friends. i think I drank a half a pint of schnapps.
i feel like i need to puke again. at least my brain doesn't feel like its being stabbed anymore.
everyone liked my volt batteries though. they asked to use them pretty often.
which is why i'm sure i'll have the flu on top of this ridiculous hangover. fantastic.

I've had it for about a month and no issues. There's a small torx screw on the plunger and I just happen to have a torx set so every now and then I check to make sure that screw is tightened. As far as the size of this set up goes, It's quite a bit smaller than my wallet and fits comfortably in the front pocket of my jeans, and I don't worry about it breaking while it's in my pocket. I have a VVPV that goes in my car or in the windshield bag of my Harley. I may have to drip into the GLV when I'm legging it, but that doesn't bother me.

I have protection too. Those little drip tip condoms you get when you order from ecblends?
I totally forgot to grab one on my way out the door. I should have.

I had a dream about the Ucan last night junkman. I dreamed that it was electronic.
It had a watch battery in it and you could flip a switch and the eliquid would slowly come out the needle tip.
I have no idea why I dreamed about it but it was interesting.
I'm guessing it'd be nice to fill cartos if it had a nice metal needle tip. Or the carts for T systems.

I certainly use a mixture of Smokeless Image stuff. X2s are my normal home device, but my Volts are used everyday...for out and about, or working in the yard, or next to my bed at night...nothing better for pocket friendly portability. Also, I am a carto only guy...clearos, nanos, tanks...been there, I'll stick with my foolproof cartos.

See this is what I made this thread for. I'm starting to really question why we're all immediately going to huge tanks. I like the hit off of this cartomizer that I've been dripping into a lot better than the hit off of a saturated tank. Its smoother and its almost like, I'm getting less vapor, but its much smoother and I think a lot more calming. That GLV mini with a carto is probably a great vape.

I can understand you guys using these on the go. They're very portable. I can fit 2 batteries and a handful of cartos or CE3 Clearomizers in my little case. Plus they're small and light makes using and hiding very easy.
I do not find my 808 set up very satisfying. If the batts aren't full charge they can give a weak vapor production. Their juice delivery options could be better. My clearos only last two refills before they start leaking. Cleaning them seems to make them leak after cleaning :(
When they're good they're amazing. But IMO they're not consistent.

This super shorty carto is nice because its almost like an atomizer.
You don't have to sit there dripping 25-30 drops, 5-10 at a time. You can drip 15 drops and be done.
Your not going to burn anything or get bad hits until you fully saturate the filler, because its so small.
It saturates really quickly and it isn't hard to get the liquid throughout the filler.
15 drops fills it and vapes for a good hour. Longer if I want to push it.

The vape is warmer than a longer carto or a tanked carto.
It feels smooth. I'm getting great plumes of vapor. Taste is good. I'm happy w it.
I wonder why SI does not carry a super shorty?
You'd think everyone would enjoy a shorter carto/device.

ALSO- I was sure that this set-up would suck with juice lower than 18mg.
usually when I am using unregulated mods I like at least 18mg of juice for better TH?
This thing is still rocking and I've switched down to 12mg juice. Still nice. I'm so impressed.

Where are your 808 batteries from? Its my understanding that not all 808 batteries are created equally.
The Volt 808 batteries are regulated. The hit doesn't weaken as it drains. Only right before it shuts off.
But I understand that a lot, if not most, 808 batteries, are actually not regulated. they are just like 510s.
The Volt 808 batteries are the equivalent of the Riva/Kgo ego batteries compared to the regular ego bats.
The Riva/Kgo bats are regulated, while most eGos are unregulated, starting at 4.2 and draining voltage.
Volt/Bloog 808 batteries are regulated. I believe Super 510-T batteries are also regulated at 3.7 volts.
The Super 510-T batteries are almost impossible to find though. Madvapes has them right now I think?
But they are much longer than I'm willing to use and they only come in chrome or black.
There are some kanger 808 style cig-alike bats out there that are also regulated at 3.7v.
I've seen them on the healthcabin website. They have LED holes going around the end of the bat.
And of course, the eRoll is regulated as we all know, at 3.7v, with a very small battery.

One thing I have learned over the short time that I have been vaping is that there are a lot of effective ways to vape. Each has its own trade offs - cost, size, convenience, reliability, amount of vapor, taste, etc.

Everyone has a different combination of those factors that hits their sweet spot.

I guess that I an at a point where the eRoll has become my sweet spot in that matrix of trade offs.

Sure my RBA puts out better vapor but the eRoll is good enough that I don't miss using the RBA and is much more carry friendly.

One thing that is sad is that a lot of people dismiss some of the better cigalikes without giving them a chance because it reminds them of the first ecig they had and that usually means an experience that wasn't near as good an experience as the devices they are using now.

I love my little Volt! I'm moving up to a vv setup next week, but hanging onto to my Volt batts and CE3s cause I love them so much. They are GREAT for throwing in my purse for vaping on the go. (Or to stick in my bra for a vape at work in the bathroom, lol.) No way I could give these babies up. The CE3s are amazing!

Just as the title states, I've been using the Volt from smokelessimage with a 2.0ohm smoktech super shorty cartomizer for two days strait now. These volt batteries rock. You definitely do not absolutely need to strictly use mods with these things.

I switch one onto the charger 3 times a day I believe. Thats not bad.
Though I'd feel more secure with a PCC for outside the house.
But who needs a PCC when you have a mod or two?
I'll definitely be using these Volt batteries WAY more often. WAY more often.
Mods are great for battery life. I like that I can rebuild the tanks, the tanks hold so much juice, sure.
But the simplicity of the Volt batteries really make it hard to put them down, even with XX mods on my desk.

We seem to have reached a point where we all think cig-alikes are terrible. Its not true. Its just not true.
NO, I would not want to ONLY own these volt batteries. I'd feel vulnerable if that were the case.
I'd always like to have at least a few mods and I'd recommend owning a few mods to any new vaper.
But do we really need to tell new vapers looking for cig-alikes to skip them all together?
These Volt batteries pack a PUNCH. I believe they are regulated at 3.6-3.7 volts, right?
LR carto on here and they are blowing me away.

Instead of recommending new vapers stay away from cig-alikes all together..
I'd rather recommend they get a Volt kit, or a Bloog Kit. The regulated 808 bats..
but also have at least 1 high mah eGo battery with some tanks for it for home as well.

Is the volt that much better? Is it 510?
