Thanks for the pic's my Kentucky bro. The LT is about the same length as the prov with the 18650 batt. That helps me. I am a Electrician my main pv (bomb shell) rides in my tool bag or van, while my ego style pv goes in my tool belt. My main concern is being able to take a beating. My job, and my outdoor lifestyle demands this. I really don't care if my stuff gets a scratch or two, i just want it to work (cosmetics are no concern). My main debate is do i want a $160 mod in my bag or $80. I don't buy cheap tools either.

KY-

I've been wanting to come to a BGV meeting for a while, but they seem to always fall on work days.

I, like you, do not have a desk job, and my primary concern (besides does it do what it's supposed to) is durability. IMO, the Provari will take abuse far more forgivingly than the LT. I've been babying it at work today because I'm afraid I'll break it (leaving it in the truck, instead of on my belt, etc.) I don't baby the Provari at all. The LT is a neat take on the VV tube mod with some novel features. Whether it will hold up over time as a working mans PV remains to be seen. I liken it to the Provari being the "Snap-on" and the LT as the "Harbor Freight."

Just saw Vapians Navy stuff, guess it wont HURT if I throw out my ARMY roots. LMAO more rival stuff coming now!!!!!

Nah, no rivalry there. At least Navy doesn't see any. Let's see ... our 56 wins to your 49 ... and ouch, 1973 and 2002 must've sucked, huh?

;)

Honestly, I hold the Grunts and Ground-Pounders in the HIGHEST regard. Yeah we both do our time, but Sailors generally don't start the day wondering where the next sniper or IED is. Thanks for your service!

You brought up a good point with the BGV meets, I will bring up the weekday thing again! When I get with like minded people I like me a cold beer or two, and maybe a shot of KY champagne. They did have a meet last summer before I started vaping at Buffalo Trace, which is bout 1/2 way. A good meet on a day when everybody could sleep in a little, 1/2 way between each city would be a great idea in my mind. My fam has a nice sized farm right around bardstown, would luv a good camp out on a weekend.

Take a look at this to carry your PV and extras in. It fits a Provari with Chibi tank on it. 2 spare bats. 2 Bottles of 15mil juice. Spare cartos, drip tip, and still leaves me room for more without beeing too bulky. Amazon.com: CLC Custom LeatherCraft 5-Pocket Cell Phone/Tool Holder - 1105: Cell Phones & Accessories
