As the title suggests, I'm on a quest for some quality glass / pyrex tanks. I'm already aware of the most popular ones (see list below), and I have a Siam Mods tank now that has sparked the itch to get more. If anyone knows can help me locate some other options to check out, I would be much obliged!

Siam Mods Glass tanks: Siam Mods - Glass Tanks (I have the clear XL version and I'm seriously digging it)

Phiniac Tanks: The Phiniac Tank - Phiniac Rugged Pyrex Glass Tanks (The etched XL tank is already on my short list)

Clean Tanks: Clean Tanks - Avid Vaper (The Parva One Piece is on my short list)

    Others?

Having tried more than a few tanks, I finally settled on the Phiniac XL's w./ SS caps. Just perfect, zero issues, and their tank/carto insertion tool just makes it all that much better.

I agree. My only issue with their tank tool is that it's white delrin. I used it perfectly but one day I left it on the paper towel I filled my tank on and threw it out. I forgot it was on there. So I bought a slapyomama tank tool from bigdaddyvapors. It's stainless and heavy and a bit easier to use.

Phiniac XL tank is the best IMO. I have 3

Ahhhhh, the old white on white thing, hehe. Yes, I will agree that one has to get a system in place to prevent that.

The slap yo mama is the best around; zero issues. It is the only one I can get out without hurting myself.

I got the clear XL size tank and the caps fit snug. Not as tight as my SS caps on my Phiniac tank, but tight enough where they don't come out without a bit of effort.

Curious, do you own both a Phiniac and Siam Mods glass tank? I'm still looking for a glass tube replacement for my Pro V cartomator tank (it's polycarbonate).

I've roughly compared the tube diameter of the cartomator tube to a phiniac, and the phiniac appears to be a little wider than the Pro V tube, by at least 2-3 mm. Can you tell me by rough comparison if your Siam Mod tube appears to be a little narrower in diameter than your Phiniac tube?

I've put off spending the $15 for a bare tube to see for myself as I've spent over my typical monthly budget on gear for the cartomator, new Provari, and new batteries. The other option would be the IBTanked tube for just $5, another narrow pyrex tube option, but for some reason my CC wouldn't work for their website, and I'm not sure my PayPal account is working, either.

I've posted this pic elsewhere on the board, but if by chance no one has seen it on another thread, I'll post it here, too. I'm particularly proud of this tank. I believe I was the first to try matching a Phiniac glass tube with an acrylic Bella tank, which comes stock with a polycarbonate-type tube, from Hoosier Vapes.

The Phiniac clear tubes will match up perfectly with the Bella/Elegance tanks from Hoosier Vapes. Note that Phiniac's other tubes, specifically their colored tubes, will NOT fit as they are a wider diameter than the clears.

This is an XL-v2 clear tube. Orange sandblasting was ordered for about $6. The green e-liquid is Juicy Vapor's Ecto Plasma, a very tasty juice that tastes like a green popsicle.

I got both my IBT (ocd) and my phiniac on the same day. Both are working great, and yes the ocd is smaller. It looks great on the twist though! I can't really compare because both are quality in their own right. The first being a smaller, hand painted tank, and the other being larger and color sandblasted, I think both are worth the price I've paid. I have IKV 801 megas in both, with a stealth connector and ego thread cover. Here's a comparison and a shot of the IBT on my 1000 mah twist. Edited to say: The fusions fit Perfectly with the phiniac while they poke out just a bit on the IBT. I don't find this an issue but I also think it works lovely with my ss drip tip on top.

Anyone know of glass pieces that will fit the new smoktech vivi rebuildable tank? I think the sleeve is supposed to be the same size as a DCT

I just tried to fit a Smoktech DCT endcap on a Phianc clear tube, and the endcap is too large to fit on the Phiniac.

The Phiniac colored tubes are a tiny bit wider than the clear ones, they might work, but I don't have any to try. Hope that helps some.

Similar design to the Phiniac, Big Daddy and Clouds of Vapor tank filling tools by fitting on the end of the carto, but this one actually has a juice catch-well which you fill with juice which will then drain down into the tank. $5.

Different approach to a common problem. Unlike the other tools, this one will not protect your o-rings during tank assembly.

Yes, I got the Siam Mods tank first and then a couple of weeks later the Phiniac XL with the SS caps. The Siam tank is quite a bit narrower than the Phiniac in diameter and the walls are thinner.

    +1

The phin tanks are thick and heavy. I swear if they were not so expensive I would try a torture test myself lol

Don't know if anyone has seen these yet, but SmokTech has released a "refill funnel" tool that could be helpful. It's not designed like the other tools for carto insertion (to save your o-rings), but it is an interesting concept for refilling with the funnel design.

SMOKtech Refill Funnel for DCTs & GotVapes Phoenix Raven Tanks [gv-RefillFunnel] - $4.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

Hmmm interesting! I don't have those type of tanks, but it looks useful! bnrk

This is not a glass tank, but a SMOKteck polypro clearo tank with wicks (not a Vivi Nova)510 Smoktech Screw Tank 6ml Vivi Nova
I just tried this and liked it so well I ordered another. Just incase anyone is looking for a wick tank, this so far has worked better than any other wick set up tank I have tried. Sometimes it is nice to have a different style vape. I wish it was glass tho, that would be ideal! I read on Got Vapes that the name has changed to SMOKteck Titan, they have them too. They hold 6 ml, so pretty serious tank type for wicks. bnrk
