A Quest for Glass / Pyrex Tanks

I will definitely check out some foil stickers for my Triple V pyrex tanks. I can cover up the little bottom part where I chipped the pyrex trying to wedge off some custom caps with a knife. It was my fault for putting some black o-rings in the caps that were too thick. The tank still works fine with no leaks, but you can see the little chip at the bottom. A nice foil border around it would look awesome. And I like the lizard you have on yours....

Cute?? Haha, those were the only ones that weren't flowers, glittery stars, or lacy stuff. I got them at a local Michael's Arts & Crafts store.

Yep same problem here, no draw, just a bad plastic burnt taste, very bad! I will pop him off an email.

Oh I just had an idea for cheap decorated tanks. The poly tank I got from Valley View works great but is so plain and boring looking I decorated it with foil stickers to jazz it up, it looks cool! Could do this with his glass tanks too. Not nearly a blown glass designer tank, but it does look cool for out and about bnrk

Yeah, thanks for the foil stickers on the tanks idea, Bnrkwest! I covered one in vinyl carbon once and left a strip open to see the liquid, but it just didn't look right, so I peeled that off. With these, I can easily see when a tank is ready for a refill.

It is like a JonBoy tank

I found this list of caps that fit it:

M1A1 anodized aluminum
Big Daddy Vapor SS (I found these to be a loose fit, though...Delrin maybe different, but don't have any to try)
Phiniac both SS and Delrin (these fit very well, but need to be well-lubed when placing them or the o-ring catches on the edge of the tube)
Vapor-Mania.com 5ml Vapor Tank - colored Delrin
Siam Mods - regular size SS (also called "Ice" tank)

You have to buy the end caps elsewhere and it is a pain in the neck, she is going to start carrying the caps soon, I hear. I still don't know where to get the caps alone.

Last week I bought a couple of the first sale on the Unique Tanks. Very pretty but I think the caps may be a little large for my taste. Haven't had a chance to try them out yet:

Just popping in the give an update on one of my recent posts. I must say that I have grown very fond of my Unique Tanks. At first I thought they where a little large for my style but now they feel perfect! It's like when you get a new larger PV than you are used to. Such as when I got my mini provari I thought "oh that is so heavy and big!" LOL! Now I think it's small and want to regular size with extension cap!

Anywho, these Unique Tanks are the bomb! Top quality, beautiful designs, and with the built in drip tip it looks sooooo sleek. I think that was what made it seem large at first because I wasn't used to the built in drip tip. But then it dawned on me that I don't have to add more length to it because the dt was already there - dah!!! And it perfectly matches so there is no need to go searching for a dt that will fit and match. It has great air flow and so easy to open and fill. I'm using one on my Reo Woodville and it is so perfect. I'm on vacation but will post some pics when I get home.

Thank you CatCat for these wonderful new tanks. I'm so happy to see another person offering alternative style tanks. Please keep making more and soon!!!!!

BTW CatCat, if you read this post.....how do we know when you will have more for sale? Someone told me about your previous sale otherwise I don't know where to look for more?

Hi Mookie!! Thanks for such a great response on the Uniques. I have received some pretty great responses on my first run. I'm new to being a supplier so am not sure if I can post here. This is not another suppliers thread, so it should be ok. Perhaps I will pm you the link hon and feel free to share. I do plan to get a thread up on ECF soon.

Also though, this is a thread for glass, and the Uniques aren't glass. People are replacing the tubes with the bedazzle glass tubes.
