EDIT I forgot to say in the title "of VW vapers", makes no sense for TC vapers.

This is probably a stupid question, but I'm curious.
To those of you who have mods that show puffs and vape time (I don't) can you tell me,

MTL/DL,Wattage,time vaped,number puffs,ml used,comment if you want
eg. using this format I might have:
MTL,8W,1000s,180puffs,0.9ml,protank with 1.9ohm coil
You will need to measure your liquid.

I know, personal preference and all that; but as I said just curious.

In Partibus Infidelium
MTL on Nautilus mini, 1.8ohm coils, 8-10W, 2-4ml a day.
DL, RTAs/RDAs, mostly .3-.4 builds, 50-60W, 10-12ml a day.

Similar on the NaughtyX with 1.8 Ohm coils at 12 Watts. Two mls is roughly equivalent to a pack of smokes. At higher Wattages (50+) I can't keep track because I blow through it too quickly.

MTL: probably a bit over 5 mls per day, if I'm vaping a lot and using a 0.7 tank, about 4 if using a 1.8 coil. As far as sub-ohm tanks and DL, I don't think I've ever vaped a full day on those but when I dig out my Cleto tank I go through liquid like a sieve.

I'm not certain I'd enjoy a puff counter.... That's just me.

I was always annoyed by the puff counters. It's info that I'm uninterested in and occasionally mods will prominently display the puff count on a tiny screen. I just want to glance down at the thing and make sure everything is going OK.

The puff counter/time vaped was sort of crucial to the question. As was an accurate measure of liquid used. I was thinking short term usage, eg put a known amount in a tank and when its empty record the puff counter etc.
I was wondering about the correlation between energy and liquid consumed.

Personally. I mix up 40mls that lasts me a week, but on my latest build I'm using higher wattage and going through the liquid faster; or maybe I'm just taking more puffs, or longer puffs, or ....
As I said just curious.

Um higher wattage will go through liquid faster. Sub-ohm tanks, even at the same wattage, will go through liquid less fast, depending on airflow etc., as well as the tank, but use more battery power (even at the same watts). I guess that has do do with coil resistance? The same tank at 1.8 coil, I open all the airholes, at 0.7 at the same watts, with half the airflow, the juice amount is *barely* more, but it certainly drains my batteries quicker.

It could be more or longer puffs, but the liquid usage probably has to do with wattage? You're using more power, the juice heats faster, you'll get a more robust cloud? I think?

If it bothers you, you could certainly return to a more similar build and go back to your 40 mls a week. You could try decreasing the wattage and opening airflow to see if you can vape your tank similarly to prior builds? If you enjoy what you're vaping and you are DIY juice, you could certainly eat the juice costs, and continue vaping just where you are.

Or... who knows.... maybe you like your new build better, in which case, you are puffing on it more.... YOU might need a mod with a puff counter to find out, but those are the general trends that I know of. Good luck :)

It's a bit more complex than just 'how much liquid you vape/day'.
    What's in the liquid????
It's easy to have 40ml of liquid contain the same amount of nicotine as 4ml of liquid.
Toxins from flavorings can be all over the place.

As a norm, I vape at ~7 watts, but that may be with a 3 ohm coil, or might be with a 1 ohm coil. It just depends on what the coil is in. I figure battery life @ 100mAh/hour.
I will normally go through 100ml of liquid/month. That works out to 3.333333333333ml/day.;)

I got a laugh when I set up the ArcticFox into my IStick100TC. Its almost a couple years old and my wife was using it to take to work before the 510 threads began getting tired so the atty would wobble a bit. I put a thread adapter into it and I'll use it till it expires.
The puff counter in the AF says 11,440 puffs and 853.4 seconds.

I'm going to screw up all of your assumptions then.

Don't know how many "puffs" I take per day, but I can say this.

I average going though 4ml per day. This is in a .3ohm dual Clapton coil RTA build at 120W. The juice I am using has ZERO nicotine. I haven't used any nicotine in my liquids in 4 months now.

So, 4ml per day average, 0 Nic juice, at 120W.

This is from someone who smoked 1.5 packs a day of Camel 99s for 30 years before switching to vaping.

I have a lot of trouble believing that.

That's an average in excess of 13 seconds per puff. That's only possible if you're using TC. (or a mech, but then you wouldn't have a puff count). Without TC on a regulated mod the 10 second safety system will kick in before you can take a puff that long.

Even with TC active I have trouble imagining someone averaging 13 seconds per draw for every puff they take. I don't know anyone who can take a 13 second draw unless it's so slow they wouldn't get any vapor from it.

Here's what I see with the ArcticFox and my IStick100TC plugged in, the numbers went up a bit but still I'm not sure how long they have been recording. It has to be the internal IStick stats cause I haven't puffed that much in the couple month or so I've had AF installed.
