There have already been restrictions on people wearing perfumes, colognes, scented deodorant and aftershave in offices.

I have a feeling if I don't wear scented deodorant, that I'd actually get fired faster. Then again, I do live in Florida, where you smell like a pair of dirty gym socks after walking to your car in the humidity.

It is actually true. There was a case in Detroit several years ago where a woman complained about smelling others' perfumes, colognes, deodorants... She worked in a city building of some sort. If I remember correctly, she sued, won and employees were no longer to wear anything scented. I think she also got a 6 figure settlement. I'm sure there have been numerous cases since then.

Nope, never been to Detroit. I just figured all of the industrial chemicals would turn it into Chernobyl. Case and point, the insane clown posse is from detroit.

My home town was probably more toxic. It sucked in all of LA's smog and pollution.

ICP are a bunch of gasoline huffers. That is their problem. It's just a shame nobody has tossed a match yet.

Of all the toxic chemicals lingering in detroit, perfume is what drove her off the cliff. It sucks that one thin skinned cry baby has to ruin everybody's fun.

Yup. It's the tiny tyrants that rule the world. They usually have no cares about environmental issues, auto emissions, factory emissions, pesticide clouds, poison colors and additives in foods, but if they can get in your face and curb your freedom, it's the only way they feel they have their freedom. For some people, controlling others is the only way they feel in control of their own lives. I think it's the whole reason why we have wars.

That is the best idea ever...I think I'm gonna get to work on that.

And I'm only halfway joking about it. I want to open a business and if I could make it successful, I think you just gave me a winner. Don't worry, if it works I'll put your name on the sign somewhere...somewhere in the fine print. :p

No - real big letters. "sychodelix" - that sounds very trendy for a coffee bar.

Then again, your name wouldn't be too bad either. Just change a letter or two to "Taste Morte" (pronounced Tasty) - kinda rhymes even. I like it!

Sorry, i dont get YOU.
There sits Starbucks - selling perhaps the most universally accepted addictive drug - caffeine... telling people not to vape.
Whatever in the world is the reasoning here? i think they just caved in to jackwagons that get their pannies in a wad watching something that LOOKS like smoke come out of someones mouth...
But you're right - if they want to ban this, it's their right. I should take the thousand or so bucks i spend there someplace else.

That pretty much sums it up.

I remember the good 'ol days when you could smoke in the waiting room @ a hospital, in the shopping mall and on an airplane. What's a bit of harmless vapor compared to that mess?

I remember flights where they would ask me if I wanted a smoking seat when I was in college going home to visit the family... I WANTED to sit in the smoking section.. but couldn't bring myself to do it since my mother would reign holy hell on me for stinking up the car on the way home! ROFL!! I would vape on a plane now, with a smile on my face!! (of course NOW I wouldn't be worried about an irate mother figure on the other end of the flight...)
