I am fairly positive I am getting a Provari.
I am using a MVP and used to long battery life which is my only concern as I am not used to doing anything but picking up and going.

I am curious as to whether it is advisable to get the cap so I can use 18650 batteries?

Lastly, is the mini worth considering or will I be limited even more on battery?

Thank you.

Regardless which size Provari you decide to get, I would recommend the extended cap.
If you think you will want the long battery life of an 18650 and a provari mini, you can get there with 2 tatroe provari rings at Tatroe Ring Provari Steel You would need 2 and they are 14.95 each and currently out of stock.

So, it would be cheaper to just get the full size provari and the extended cap. You will also get the standard cap with any provari so you will always have the option of using your shorter batteries too.

Regardless, you will love vaping on a provari.

I'd say get the extension cap - it gives you options on battery size - and go for the full size, since battery life is a potential issue for you. You can get there with the mini, but it will require some jury rigging and getting the smaller size would seem to run contrary to your desire for longer lasting (i.e. bigger) batteries.

Provape has the tatroe base and ring in stock, if he ordered those and the extension cap he could use all 3 battery sizes. :)

With the mini I mean.

Unless you are concerned about it being very pocket-friendly, the Mini is probably not for you. You don't sound like the type to want to have to change batteries every 6 - 7 hours or carry spare batteries. If battery time is your priority, get the standard size with the extension cap and the 18650 batteries.

My personal preference is the Mini. Its the most versatile in my opinion. You can get extension cap so its can take any 18... battery. I personally dont mind changing out batteries, take just a quick few seconds to do so. Any way, whatever you choose, you will love it ! :)

Silly question: Is there a difference in the way the button placement feels between the two models? I've never held them, and it's difficult to tell from pictures. Do you have to hold your thumb noticeably lower on the mini? I suppose you can just slide the mini higher up in your hand, but then will it feel top heavy? I can't decide which one to get. I guess a mini with an extension cap could solve any problem I have holding it, and I doubt I need a 18650 anyway.

Also, is it ok to leave the batteries charging over-night?
