Absolute longest lasting battery?

I've read about the mods with 26000mA batteries (or more), but everything I've read so far indicates most mods don't last as long as the 900mA Mega eGo or G400's do. Maybe they're higher drain, higher voltage, or something(?), but which ecig device actually lasts the longest before having to recharge it?

I don't have one, but with 2x18650 batteries, I think the tekk
would have long battery life. I did just order a Ken's Box Mods
3.7v 2x14500 (2x900mah) (in parallel) battery box. based on my ego (650mah) use I'm expecting 2.5+ day battery life

You're right, the Tekk has 4000mAh too. I should know that, I just received mine yesterday. :D It might be the longest running battery, at least a day, day and a half even for heavy vapers.

anything that uses a 2600 mAh battery or better (and the UF 3000mAh are over rated...they're more like 2400mAh...so not better)

anyway....if you take the amp draw of the atty you're using at a given voltage in mA... and divide that by the mAh rating of the battery you'll get a C rate of discharge... divide 60 minutes by the c rate and you'll get minutes...multiply by 60 to get seconds....

you can then figure out by how long you hold the button how many button presses you'll get...divide that out by how often you hit the pv and you'll get a pretty good guestimate of just how long it'll last...

and the eGo doesnt last anywhere near what a 18650 would....plus you're overstressing the battery so it'll totally die sooner....and even sooner if you're using LR atties...

here's some of the math as an example though:
first a 1.5Ω atty on a 2600mAh 3.7V battery...
that's 2.47A draw...so 2470mA.... 2470mA/2600mAh= .95C... 60min/.95C= 63min or 3789sec (continuous)... so if you average a 5 second button press that's 757 button presses...(this'd be like 25hours of solid use if you were hitting your PV once every other minute for 5 seconds long)
now a joye 2.3Ω atty on the same battery:
that's 1.61A draw or 1610mA.... 1610mA/2600mAh=.62C... 60min/.62C= 96min or 5806 seconds (continuous.... with average 5 second button presses that's 1161 button presses...(this'd be like 38 hours if you were hitting your PV once every other minute for 5 seconds)

things like the tekk that run 2 18650 in parallel double that capacity...so if it has 4000mAh...same math:
for the LR atty.... it'd be about the same as the regular joye atty on that single battery...roughly 1611 (5sec) button presses
for the standard joye atty....9000seconds (continuous) or 1800 (5sec) button presses...or 60 hours straight if you were hitting the PV every other minute nonstop

then it's just a matter of how often you hit your PV...

America's biggest battery keeps town humming for eight hours | DVICE attach an ecig to that and you've got a lot of power. :D Ran an entire town for 8 hours, would probably run your ecig for your entire lifetime. :D

Honestly, the largest practical battery size I've seen is from an 18650 cell, although it is theoretically possible to get more juice by sacrificing form factor.

The tekk runs them in series, so capacity is not doubled. It does use a switching regulator though, so you will get better battery life with the tekk than you would with a mod that uses a linear regulator (nearly all other 5V mods), but not as much as you would from two 18650s in parallel.

Well, here's the deal. I thought the Precise 10440 looked cool, then I read posts like http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/super-t-manufacturing/100372-precise-batteries.html posts #6 & 7 which said it lasts 1-3 hrs. Kinda' blows my assumption that 100mA=1 hr use out of the water (unless 10440 batteries are 100-300mA).

I knew there were other factors that affect maximum duration of use (atty resistance, device alloy, serial or parallel, etc), but I just wondered what others thought the longest lasting setup was.

Thanks for the input.

There are other factors. 10440s are rated for about 350mAh, but their discharge rate is very low. That means they're less efficient than larger batteries when feeding high loads (like ecigs) and your run time will suffer for it. Four hours of moderate vaping is possible, but it's also possible for a heavy vaper to suck one dry in an hour or so. If you want something that will last all day, a 10440 mod is not the right tool for the job.

Despite not really being a "4000mAh device", the tekk probably still is the longest lasting mod you can buy. I know some people have made their own 2 18650 parallel mods, but I do not believe any have been made commercially available. That being the case, the tekk with it's two series 18650s and switching 5V regulation is going to give you the best run times you can get. Several people have reported well over 3 full days, which isn't shabby by any standards. And considering you can easily charge it over USB, it's certainly one of the easiest mods to keep topped off.
