I just learned something- and that's a good thing! I really didn't think I could get away with a max VG e liquid in my PT2. So thanks for setting the record straight!
You're welcome - be a shame for you to miss any in max VG just because you think they'd be too thick ...NT's certainly aren't :)

If I may ask, do you wrap your own coils? I have been making them myself for my PT2- I'm a dyed in the wool hands-on type, left brained to a fault. Wondering what gauge wire, ohms, wick material, etc. you're using to best vape such a high percentage of VG.
Afraid not - I'm a practical person, but not with something fiddly like that ...the very thought makes me grimace! (I hate sewing too!)
Ask the question here though, there's a good few that do use max VG. Perhaps start a new thread :)

Thanks for the confirmation. I had heard somewhere the Virus was good right out of the box (might have been on the site, not sure...), but either way, there's no way I could have stashed all three flavors away until the end of the year! I think some people like the upfront cinnamon of unsteeped GCD, so I plan to take a few ml off the top to vape immediately before putting it away to steep.

FOOB... fresh out of (the) box? :?: :D

Very easily could have been me. :)
I am quite happy with GCD and Virus fresh on delivery. I think you will too. And yes I like the upfront cinnamon on the GCD when I get it.

Fresh out of the box, bag, bottle, etc. I believe it's "Fresh Off Of the Boat" for our Aussie friends. :)

I don't use a PT2, but I have two aerotanks. The PT1/2 uses a different single coil setup iirc. I'm not sure if it's the different coils, but Pictor has had better luck than me with maxvg juice. I have had problems with even 70vg juice using stock aerotank coils. YMMV. Rebuilding those PT2 atomizers with some cotton wicking will likely give you a nice improvement. I didn't rebuild anything for months, and some don't ever get into it. It can be a lot of fun though if you like to tinker. PM me if you ever want some pointers, or PM Meg if you want to talk to a real pro. She was my spiritual guidance counselor for kanger atomizer rebuilding.

EDIT: Just to clarify I have never tried NT maxvg in an Aerotank. It was a house juice 70vg that wouldn't wick well for me. TBH I didn't put enough miles on that combo to say how well it works. Generally always leaned towards the 50/50 or 65/35 since it works pretty well across the board.

The PT2 just uses the standard single Kanger coils.
I do have a mini Aerotank, but haven't used it yet - they take the dual coils/V2. They're the same ones that go into the MOW, and I use two of those daily with max VG.

Interesting. Thanks for the info. I have had lots of fiddly issues with all my tanks, and I am constantly figuring new stuff out. User error is possible. :)

I'm using anywhere from 3 to 5 wraps of 32 gauge wire, I alternate between silica and cotton 'primary' wick with and without a flavor wick that may be different material from the primary depending on my mood. Overall I like the ease of using cotton; easy to pull through the coil, cheap as dirt, good wicking and taste- hard to beat it except cotton doesn't seem to stay fresh tasting quite as long as silica so needs to be changed more often. But it's so easy to change it out for new cotton that I don't look at this as much of a negative.

I'm looking into RTAs as we speak, more for "just because" than because of any shortcomings of my Protank 2- which has proven to be a very good unit for me, single coil and all. I'll probably opt for a 3 post RTA if for no other reason than it offers a bit more flexibility. But for a clearomizer like the PT2, I get along fine using a single coil. That said, I've never used a dual coil atomizer so I don't know what (if anything) I'm missing. :vapor:

I had problems with the Unitanks - lovely at first, but three started leaking after a matter of days.
I also had leaking or gurgling/siphoning from an Innokin 30s
Because I've liked the mini Nautilus, I just got an Aspire K1, but haven't tried it yet.
Currently using two Nautili, MOW's, mPT2, and a couple of Evods of all things! (I mostly use them with MVPs's, Spinner ll's and a couple of cTwists)

I suppose any such issues could be down to a bad pack of coils, poor seals on the tanks, or perhaps other design flaws.

I also have a mini aero. Works fine with maxVG. BTW, it will also take the old style Kanger dual coils which are simpler to clean and rewick.

Yep, Clark said so. Regardless I still chatted with Kati before I hit buy on 100 ml. And of course she said yes!

Its official Peeps! ACB is available to all on a first come first serve basis. Please use your discretion when ordering so that others may have a chance as well! :)

Does Nanny know about this. Someone needs to light up the ACB signal over Detroit...
