I am new to the 510 I've been vaping for 1 month. And when I received your stuff which is why imselling my 510 stuff because I purchased more ego stuff which I intend on keeping as my vape stuff when I got out but I am now going to get a mod. I don't understand the issue. I made offers after I took one. And I made other purchases. You don't know what I'm spending my money on. If you make an offer and some1 takes it then its theirs. So because I want to goto a mod and need money for it I get my classified spammed. That's not right. Look at my join date to these forums because that was before I started vaping. So what your saying is I'm a bad person because I changed my mind after receiving YOUR ego battery you sent me and want a mod that's bigger for at home vaping.

I apologize to anyone offended by the fact that I change my mind and want to move to a big mod. I didn't know that was grounds for spamming my classified ad. I stole nothing and never misrepresented myself.

If you think you're doin' nothing wrong, why are you apologizing?

To be honest, I think most would rather see you re-PIF what you took in PIF and don't want.

By selling it in the classifieds, you come across to many (including me) as a lowlife.

Look, I apologize if I misunderstood this. I do think you have a right to sell whatever you want in any way you want to get whatever you want. I honestly do. I just felt like you misrepresented yourself, and I'll admit, maybe it was me that read into it wrong. Or maybe it wasn't. I don't know why, but the lack of thanks when I so obviously gave you something from the heart is what sent a red flag up for me. That's fine, you are not obligated to thank me, nor is anyone obligated to thank anyone. However, the way I was raised it's the proper and polite thing to do. Had you at any point said thanks, and not disabled PM's (another red flag) so that I could make sure everything was received and well, as I tried to PM you SEVERAL TIMES, that might have changed my whole opinion on the matter. My instinct was telling me that something was off and that's all I can say.

As to spamming your thread, I left one post which was deleted almost immediately. I didn't try to post again, so there was no spamming.

Correct me if I'm wrong. But it is in fact against PIF and ECF rules to accept a PIF offer (especially one that generous) and then turn around to sell it. You're right, we have no idea what you're spending your money on.. which is exactly why we don't want you selling what is given to you. AFAIK these are official rules. Trading is okay.. selling is not. Am I right? I could be wrong. But this is what I always abide by.

My bad, you're right. I just checked them as well. I guess I just go by my own moral standards. Not that they make much sense, I guess.

I'm selling because I want to upgrade. I'm actually selling a lot of stuff I purchsed around that same time. So when I say you don't know what I spoend money on I mean you don't know what else I bought that I may be selling which is the case. I'm selling the ego she. Gave me because I PURCHASED a tornado kit. And the 801 stuff and 901 stuff I bought. And did not like so I'm re selling. And I didn't return the PMs because I couldn't get on the forums or receive PMs. I had 4 other packages coming at the same time as this PIF and no 1 knows what ecig stuff I got. I stated in the PM I was new to the 510 and was excited and I was but then I received lr attys and the ego battery and decioded HV vaping is what I wanted. So don't jusdge me on this saying I'm a low life like you know everything I'm doing.. you take 1 persons side of a story that's a small part of my life and label me a low life

Just a quick note... I can vouch for the fact that adam did not turn off his PMs. He had some issues with his account that took me about two weeks to clear up, and he had no access to the forums for that time period.

Look we are a group put together to help folks out, turning around and selling PIFed goods is really in poor taste.

Yes that was before all my purchases. This PIF was a tiny part of what I have after my purchases. I bought 4times as much don't worry I won't go in the PIF forums anymore. Because I agree its great to help people out but then you judge people without knowing anything about them or their situation. And in the process destroyed any chance I will ever have of using the classifieds based on one PIF offer I picked up. It appears SOME not all of you think giving to people gives you the right to attack others. I'm sorry but if you don't like me based on one statement by some 1 else too bad.

Especially with the fact that even a mod has come out and said part of the complaint is false but everyone enjoys criticizing. I love this community and will not allow a few of you to ruin it for me. I have no bad intentions PIF is about getting somethingyou want and giving. Something back. Even the most experienced vapers do it but they are already in mods I'm still progressing like all of you did. I didn't break any rules and I didn't steal or lie. At the time of my PM to her every word was absolute truth.

You can believe me or not I'm done with this I hope people can look beyond this and not trust the words of a few who know nothing about me

Sure, maybe you didnt break the rules, but it was a scumbag move to try and make a few dollars off STUFF SENT TO YOU FREE OF CHARGE.

Sounds like someone made an offer, someone accepted it to do with as they pleased.

I've been really happy here, in my very short time, hopefully been able to contribute positively, but jeesh, it's a bit odd at times. PIF is Pay It Forward -- I put something out there because I am able to, and I have zero claim as to what the taker then does with it. Similarly if I post something in Treasures -- it's literally there for the taking, no holds on it. Simple concepts, purely a pass forward of something which helps me do a good thing. Can't help that I believe in these concepts.

Last night, Chief stepping in to pull together a package for our new friend in Sweden was a perfect example of PIF -- a bunch of people who don't know another person putting things on the table for her to be able to choose from to help her get started. The PIF, Treasures, Wants and Needs threads seem to be an attempt to provide a formal venue for such good things to happen on a regular basis.

If I can't put something out free-and-clear I don't offer it. On the other hand, if I do offer something as a PIF, or Treasure, or fulfillment of a Want it's absolutely for that end person to use as they wish.

An awful lot of amazingly generous people here, and I'm absolutely certain people are being helped. I'm pretty sure that's what this forum is for -- to help each other out, and to help us find a good outlet for acts of kindness.

Back to my cappy smooth, time to go home see DW and the pooches...

The whole basis of PIF (pay it forward) is to PAY IT FORWARD. When you outgrew the stuff that was given to you in your time of need, the idea is that you should have given it to another person in need.

You technically did not do anything against the rules, and I don't believe you were deliberately trying to take advantage of anyone's generosity, but taking something from PIF and then selling it for profit when you no longer need it goes against the spirit of the group.

You are twisting words to your advantage. The mod did NOT say that what any part of the OP said was False which infers that the OP is lying. What the mod said was that there was a problem with your account that was fixed. The mod also stated that due to that problem you could not receive PM's or get on the forum. So what the mod said and what you are saying is a HUGE difference. Nice word play there adam.

Also you keep insinuating that all the OP gave you was an EGo. Pffttt... Again turning things/words around to try and make yourself look like an innocent victim. You got a LOT more than an Ego from the OP.

You want a bigger mod? Do what I did and most everyone else does. Save your money and buy it.

What you did is not against any rules. I have to give you that. But what you really did was morally wrong. You broke with the spirit of the PIF section of this board.

What you should have done that is morally correct is:
As soon as you realized that you wanted bigger and better then you should have saved your money and bought it while holding onto everything the OP gave you for FREE. Then once you set yourself up come back to the PIF section and get in the spirit of it and used that stuff that you got from here to PIF yourself to another person. That is what you should have done.

End of story.

I come here in this tiny corner of the internet to find good, wholesome people with excellent morals and a great sense of humor. Occasionally you get the scumbag through here, like the first person I took a PIF offer from. He ended up being a scammer. But I didn't care because it was free. Did I loose out on money and juices when I offered up my next offer? No.. because they went to someone who is either enjoying them or PIFed them to someone else who might NEED them without profit except the good feeling they get. That is our payment. Not money..

Maybe you needed a nice eye opener, hopefully you walked away from this knowing that even though the rules say something, maybe morally going over those rules and instead of making a pretty penny, you instead showed another person with little money the joy of having that kit or ego instead.. that would of been the BETTER situation and thing to do.

I am dirt stinking poor. I saved up my pennies one by one and finally was able to buy a riva kit and move away from my 510. Like literally I have no job, no income except my art that I sell every night. I have two kids.. and am married.. and do you see me posting things on the classifieds that I got from here? NO and I never will. Even if I need the gas money. Will never happen. Wanna know why? Cause I have morals. And I have a conscious and I have common sense. I would never hurt someone's feelings who showed me the up-most kindness by just placing their things on classifieds.. ya ya.. it's no longer theirs.. but it is to me and it is that way to a lot of people. Their kindness still is left on those items, that they took out of their day to send to me..

My honest opinion of you? Your low, no morals and you need better parents to teach you what those are. Just cause there is a cross walk in the street doesn't mean you can't help the old lady across it. Next time you want to take something from one of us, think long and hard about it and think how you would feel if you gave something to someone from the bottom of your heart and they turned around and sold it. Cause that's how we all feel about you now.
