Additive Addiction?

I still smoke about a pack of analogs per day. Because of the recent tax hike, I purchased some additive-free tobacco to start making/rolling my own. All was going fine and then I had a major craving for something!?! and had to go buy a pack of cigs. This has happened twice now in about 3 weeks. Overall, I guess a couple of packs of cigs is no biggie. But still, I'm beginning to think maybe there is something addictive besides the nicotine in commercial cigarettes. It's spooky because I can't tell if it's psychological or physical. Has anyone else gone through this?

Several people here have mentioned this - there was talk of Big T including an additive (read addictive) in their product to get you addicted to their specific brand.

Talk about a captive audience....8-o
