Vision Spinner Joye Ego-C Twist Combo[/url] . Get the 1300mah Spinners and EVODs for cartomizers. You will be able to dial the vape you want.

^^^^This. It took me months to figure out this set-up for myself, but this (and variations on it) have kept me satisfied for coming up on a year. On one hand, I wish I had started with this set-up. On the other, I'm glad that I tried some other things first, so that I would know how happy with it I was when I got there! I would absolutely recommend this set-up for any relatively new vaper.

Count me in for another 1300mah spinner + evod vote. I'm glad I've got our original 650s though; they make great backup batteries, and they also work well for some types of juice. Future buys will be variable voltage or mods, but I'll always have a standard stick battery around just in case.

Hello all,
I am pretty new to vaping. My son brought me a Blu disposable on fathers day (so I took it as a hint to stop analogues) When that ran out in like 4 hrs I went to AltSmoke and bought an Ego dual coil kit. It came with 2 650/900 mah batteries and 3 dual coil cartomizers + chargers. I went to a brick n mortar and bought a clearo (kanger tech T3S) these have a bottom coil that is replaceable and they seem to only last a few days. The wick only sticks out about 1/16" on each side. I would like to get a more professional kit that is not so moody. This kit I have seems to waste my juice, especially the carto's. All suggestions are welcome. I don't want a unit that is cumbersome and oversized to where it looks illegal walking and vaping

Do yourself a favor! Forget all the tube mods, clearos, cartomizers etc. and just get yourself a REO! THE best mod out there. Best juice delivery system out there! Also get a reomizer rebuildable atty. I take my REO Grande (which is the size of a business card just thicker) fill the bottle with juice, put in a 18650 battery and I'm good to go all day! No backups, no extra batteries, chargers, cartos, nothing! Just go! Small compact and non dildo looking mod in your pants pocket!

I second the reo. I started on ego's, upgraded to a vamo, started building rba's in the vamo-thought i was on cloud9. The vamo was wobbly at the posts and the fire pin wasnt to my liking. Its a great mod but cant take abuse. I then got a kamry k100 on fasttech.com for like 25 bucks. It blew my socks off. Mechanical is the way to go. However i constantly had to unscrew my atomizer to pocket-store it in fear of snapping the post. On top of that it was another LONG UGLY mod, despite its good performance. I then got a reo grand and its small, holds a 18650 big boy battery that will last me all day. Even chain vaping at 1ohm low resistances. And its POCKET friendly.
It performs so well that i gave away all my other mods to friends interested. It literally works that well. Everything else i own was givin away.
Theres alot of people on ecf that will praise the reo. I didnt listen to them at first. But after owning one and seeing the maker/creator input to ecf and listen to and engage in conversations AND technical help with his customers--- im never going to be sucking a stick or another pole again. :). Not to mention the hundreds of reo fans (reonauts) that would LOVE to help you with technical help and can teach you how to confidently build coils in no time flat.
Sorry for the length. But the reo and the reomizer2 is a GREAT idea. At 200ish out the door it seems pricy at first. But its more than capable of being the last mod you ever need to buy so dont rule it out. Its worth every penny.

Hi All,

I don't want to start a whole new thread for this, so I'm butting in here. I currently have a PS Prodigy V3 that works when it wants to. I think it's the batteries, but the screw comes loose and then it seems to be overly tight. I started with the 901 pen style (battery life sucked) moved to the Janty (I kept busting the switch and the throat hit sucked until I changed to the LR attys), then move to the Chinese screwdriver type mod (but kept busting it because I didn't want to change from my 901 attys). Now I just want something that works with and gives me a throat hit like the LR 801 attys with a fully charged battery. I'm thinking about dropping the funds and upgrading to the PS Legacy, but know I will have to change my atty to the 510 and probably have to learn all about cartomizers. And I'm worried that I will need a specific type to get the TH I'm looking for (i.e. dual coil vs single coil, clear vs not clear (does this really matter???), and whatever else I'm missing)

I'm in the process of job searching (also known as hell on earth as I've been outta work a year on the 14th of this month) and I'm a mom and I'm feeling old and tired at the moment.

I just want an ecig that works like the Prodigy did when I first got it and something that isn't going to make me feel like I have to sit in front of my computer again to learn how it works with little to no information. I've looked at the Camry (and Corolla), the Vamo, the Reo Grande (expensive and it reminds me of the Janty), the ProVape, the Legacy of course and a slew of others. But I can't seem to find a single on that seems like it won't break or malfunction while still under warranty.

Help please!! TIA!!

I started with a small basic Green Smart Living kit and quickly became annoyed with their cartomizers so I bought the 510 style kit from white rino...same thing. Turns out I just don't like carts but I really like the slim design and didn't want to waste the relatively new batteries so I bought some Vision Nano Clearomizers. Same diameter and thread, small $ investment. (Under $5) and I love them. I carry different flavors by color. Green is for mint/menthol types, clear for creams & vanillas and red for fruit types.

Mah is basically just how long the battery will last on each charge, milliamp hours. the higher the number the longer it will last on a charge. cell phone batteries are rated in mah as well...1200 mah is a monster cell phone battery for phones with big processors like a note 2, and 1500 mah is usually sold as an extended life battery...hth

My extended battery for my note 2 is 9300 mah and stock are 3100.

sent from my Provari with a mini rda!

I was lucky that a friend loaned me a Ego pass thru. I didn't go through the Blue phase. I bought a couple of cheap tanks and some prepunched cartos. Tried local B&Ms for juice with a couple of them making their own house blends. Found a couple I like and vaped them. Then about all I did for few days, was read this forum. Didn't join, just read. Probably spent a good 24 hour reading.

I went out and bought a Joyetech Ego-c Twist, because it was Variable Voltage. Keep using the same tanks, til they started to crack. Bought a couple of IBT glass tanks, and kept vaping the same juices. They tasted even better.

Starting reading more on other VVs. Decided on a Zmax V3 Flat Top. Has 510 and ego Threading. I bought mine off Craigslist. 3 weeks old, came with two batteries and a charger for $60.

I still have just the two mods, but I am using carto tanks, Kanger Protank 1 & 2, and Evods. I buy the cartos by the 5 pack, 5 at a time, and slot my own. For keeping track of my 6 juices and 6 tanks or Evods, I made a 3 tier platform out of a piece of 2X2 lumber. The top tier is for bottles, the bottom two tiers are for tanks, etc. The tank that corresponds with the juice, sits in front of that juice.

@Greg W...That's how I started a few years ago...just read and read. I'm looking again, hence the post. I started searching for a new mod a couple of months ago, but got frustrated with all the new mods. I want to stay away from button push mods as I'm leary about the button becoming useless. I'm looking more at the bottom button manual mods. I just want to get something and move on. I've been all over since my post earlier this evening (morning) and I just ordered the K101 mod from discountvapers.com.

The REO will absolutely NOT break!! Built like a tank. 1 single block on aircraft aluminum! I've droped mine down stairs, parking lots you name it. No broken tanks, bent tubes, leaking clearos,. $200 is not alot of money considering you will not have to buy anything else! Trust me once to look into long lasting mods, long battery life, rebuildable attys, tanks, cartos, etc. chasing that "little bit better" itch you will be well over $200!!

FYI, MadVapes has an AWESOME deal right now. I found a coupon for it on gotsmok.
2 900mAh Winders, 2 ACO BCC's, USB Chargers, and Wall Jack for $49

Winders don't always work well. One reason I got a twist. Two of my friends had winders. Ones didn't always work with Evod, and the other friends most recently won't work with his Davide mini Glassomizer. The power contact in the head is lower than the twist. Won't always make contact with Ego threaded toppers, and certain cartos.

Must give credit to a lot of good info here.
With that said I own quite a few mods. 6 Provaris, 2 Reo's, 3 legacy's, 2 precise plus from super t manufacturin, a buzz pro, and many more.
With that said. For something that won't break would be the Reo and Legacy and the Super T products. Anything made in the USA. With that in mind if something does happen you can get it fixed. I'll not get into the Chinese mods. Their all throwaway.
Remember this is just my honest opinion. Good luck to all

To WyldRaider:

Do you go to You Tube to watch tutorial demonstrations of the vape gear that you have? You can learn a lot from watching these. You will need to learn how to clean your clearomizer, and how to replace the heads.

The vape gear that you have should suit your purposes, you just need to learn how to maintain them. I have no issue of you trying different equipment, but if you don't learn how to maintain them you will be forever chasing the next untried delivery device.

yesss.gif goodpost.gif

Depending on your juice and vape gear and vape technique, you may only get two or three days on some coils/heads/cartomizers. I generally to through a couple a week, cleaning between each tank. Just my juice and temperature carbonizing and caramelizing the coils. At about a buck per coil/carto, it runs me $2 per week, vs. $125 per week on the analogs. What I didn't understand when I first started is that all vape gear has to be well maintained, frequently, and that there will be a continuing expense to get and keep the vape that I want. Juice, coils, cartos...it all costs. I reduced most of those costs by learning to rebuild my coils, buy cartos in bulk, and DIY my juice. Given my "usage" savings from smoking, piece of cake cost wise. It's just that initially I felt "they" were getting me coming and going. Now I'm delighted when I get to put in a new head, or new carto. That first day or two is really something special. Best to you, and there's plenty of gear recommendations without adding to the confusion. Good luck!

I was lucky that a friend loaned me a Ego pass thru. I didn't go through the Blue phase.

Most of my friends who I've helped find vaping didn't go through that phase, either. My buddy Scott got his start with Halo G6s and stubbornly refuses to try anything else. ("Too big!") My friend John ("Other John" or "Kro") made his first PV an Innokin iTaste VV (V2) after he got to test drive mine.

Friends don't let friends spend money on Blu.
