Advice on what to buy for newcomers

Ego just came and gotta say so far I am disappointed because even though I bought the adapter my 4081 carto's will not work with it

Maybe try loosening them up a tad to allow air flow. I got some adapters that could not be screwed down tight. Hope it works for ya.

Mary -- maybe too high a resistance to get any bang out of it? I disliked my eGo OEM atties, too cool a vape for me, just picked up a couple packs of Boge 2.0 ohm 510 connector cartos and they're decent (about like a 3 ohm standard carto on an 808, need the lower resistance to compensate for the lower voltage). I'm not bothering trying my 3 ohm cartos on the eGo, given the, I believe, 2.7 atties are already kind of blechy/cool to me.

It fits and everything goes together fine but when I push the button it won't heat up at all. I know the carto's are fine because I checked them on my 4081 and they work great.

Hmm. Maybe opposite of what I said then. If you are getting no juice to the carto from the battery, maybe it will not screw down that last little bit to make contact?

Ok so strange but I figured out that it will work on the cartos from GP and SS but won't work with the ones from AZsmokefree wonder why the heck not.

The center connection of the carto is probably too far "in" to make the connection... Hook them with a paper clip and tu em out a bit and they will probably fire...

Ok just tried the pre-filled mega 510 carto that I bought when I bought the Ego. First impression is OMG was smoking this harsh LOL. I actually choked the first few times it had major TH and oodles of vapor but that could all just be the juice so I guess I will see when I refill it later. I also tried one of my GP and SS (AZsmokefree cartos wouldn't work with it) 4081 cartos with an adapter on it and I found it to be very weak on TH and vapor but I am going to give it a week come back and let ya all know what I think of the Ego....So far I like it alot but gotta give it time to know for sure.

Yep. Just don't turn more than you pull. I think you can twist the wires inside if you over do it. Good lookin out Zen.

Zen I have 7 kids 5 of them still live at home and they are all going to be gone the whole weekend so I plan on doing nothing but setting in the recliner with my PV and watching movies something I rarely ever get to do because I have to much of a life any other time LOL. So really can ya blame me
