The guys been taking shots in a variety of threads... It's getting old... Especially the "just kidding" deflection. That's cool that he's kidding, and I was amused for a while, but you can only hear the same joke so many times before it's no longer amusing, ya follow?
The point of this thread from the OP resonates with me for one very good reason... I was using 4081s when I purchased my eGo, and the eGo simply did not impress me. I actually found the battery life to be dissapointing... I was told it would last at least a full day... It was dead by noon... Battery two... Dead by 6 pm... You could say six hours is great.. Well... Its a little over twice what I got from the 4081... Is that what we are calling the best product for most people?
It's bad advice is what it is.
You want long life? Get a big battery at 3.7 v, you want a cigalike the 4081 is tough to beat...
The eGo is over hyped and under delivered on the promise to me, and Tavis, suggesting a2.0 carto on an ego without also telling them the battery MAY be compromised by that resistance is ALSO bad advice.
The problem with me offering up common sense advice backed with real experience is that it's frustrating as hell to watch folks ignore and poke at it.
So, you win... Let's talk about the weather.
Until I see, rather than just listen to hearsay, an actual JOYE ego, not a Riva or some other clone, be compromised by a 2 ohm cartomizer, I will continue to recommend them without hesitation. I have seen many, many people use these on Ego's and of all that I KNOW are using them on true Joye batteries, I have not seen a single problem. If I'm proved wrong I'll eat crow, but for now I'm chalking up problems to either bad luck, atties with lower resistance (like 1.7, 1.8) or knock offs built with sub-par quality.
