Depends on the voltage I am vaping at and the atomiser/cartomiser I am using but I average 2-3 tanks per day.
A lot of GG people are heavy vapers, specially with the AFS.

I would be extremely worried if I was vaping that much on high nic though, I am only on about 8mg these days.

Is that working for you Lisa?

I'm down to 12, but have been going through so much juice (especially since my wife has stepped up her vaping) was considering going back up a bit... not sure tht will slow me down though.

Not sure if it was here I theorized it but, I wonder if we tend to vape harder as we titrate our doses down... ever since going to 12, I find that I actually get "jittery" more often than I was at 18+ mg.

Vaping harder and more often would actually increase our nic intake with a lower dose, than vaping less and feeling satisfied at 24mg.

I dunno... maybe I would vape just as much.... Mostly cuz I like blowing smoke and vaping peanut butter honey :D

There is some truth to that Wafflestomper...they say when you drop from say Marlboro Reds to Marlboro Lights that you body will instinctively want to maintain the prior nic absorption lvls so you'll smoke twice as many lights to make up for it. I went from Camel Light 100's to Marlboro Ultra Light 100's and noticed it myself. I chain smoked the UL100's for the first few weeks, but eventually dropped back down to my normal habit. I would expect the same with dropping nic lvls in the juice too, although having dropped down in small increments already from 36mg to around 20mg now..I will say it's much easier and less stressful than the tobacco transition was.

Much much easier to drop down gradually guys say 2mg at a time, maybe drop down 2mg a month for a couple of months. When I quit smoking cigs I was smoking 2-21/2 packs a day for 30yrs. I started vaping about a year and a hafe ago and started at a 48mg just to satisfy my Nic intake level. After the first 3 month I decided I needed to drop down so I take it slow, I have a mix of juices at 30mg which I use for my early morning vape to get going, by lunch time im at 24mg and by nite time I cut down to about 15-18mg just so I can get a little bit of sleep. This droping down takes time after all if you have smoked for 30 yrs like I have your body goes through major changes when quiting real cigs same as when you drop your Nic level Vaping. I'm going to try and drop again this week down to 24mg in the morning and end at 12mg by nite time and stay there for say 2 months then try to make another adjustment after that. I think this is a much better way then just cutting down quickly because your brain and body adjust easier and safer this way. Some day in the future I hope I can just enjoy the flavor as my Vape with no Nic, but not now and not yet.

I went to hospital yesterday after a heart flutter due to too much nicotine. At 48 a heart flutter worried my brain more afterwards so I got an ERG?, X Ray and a Cat scan to be sure.

This was due to the GGTS being so damn good I think so I have now reduced my nicotine level from 24ish to 12ish.

And I got my AFS today....

Holy *** are you serious man? When did you quit smoking and how much?

Very serious, quit nearly 2 months ago was 45 a day of heavies. Not the first time since quitting the nic has caused this flutter so be careful guys :p

Get a great mod, reduce your nic a little :)

yes, take it easy. But it has do do also with general health I think. I quit some years ago cold turkey for two years, never had any flutter, but started again, until 8 months ago, only GG's and never felt better. Vaping at 12 and 18mg depending of the time of the day. I like the nic but don't take too much, listen to your body!

Emonty Nic is a leathal chemical, pure nic would kill you very fast with only a few drops, so the body taking it in for many years builds a very heavy tolerance, the adjusments need to be taken seriously and slowly in my opnion unless you want to experiance a serious withdraw ans those symptoms can be different for everyone depending there intake levels, this is why I say slow downward adjustments work best, it lets your body stablize much easier to each adjustment instead of frantic adjustments. It's like people that have smoked for 20-40 years and quit cold turkey, they go nuts and freak out sometimes because their body isnt use to getting no Nic

Nope, I'm healthy. I know one or two more like me on IRC with a similar situation (reduce nic and fine). Yep, listen to your body but reduce nic if you can.

Big issue guys, we don't really know what we are vaping do we? whether from china or UK/USA.. nic levels, additives oils etc.

I get USP grade nic juice, PG, VG from pharmacy and the flavors are also USP grade, so basically I know what I inhale

Hopefulll,

I dont understand what you disagree with, I say slowly, what is it you disagree with

respond to my post?

Hopfulll,

You smoke for 30yrs cigs and they havve the same mg of nic, with vaping you probably use a higher mg then you change your MG with cigs it was a constant MG

As you know mg actually indicates TAR, not nic levels. Mg with liquids is a bit of a lie when comparing smokes with analogues.

I was however on 45+ a day of what you would refer to as high nicotine/tar analogues.

Emonty this is why I DIY now only, and I am very pleased with DIY especially since there is no regulation with what Eliquid Suppliers put in there Liquid mixes, you never know exaclty unless your DIY'ing

I'll be DIY soon as I find the right mix :p

OK yes the delivery is much different but iether way you still getting Nic ( Agreed )
Good luck finding your mix, I have found so many that I have to have at least 5 different mixes going at the same time. A different one in each of my 3 AFS units and 2 to drip with, hahaha I cant vape the same thing all day, I have to keep changing up!!
