What kind of adapter are you using to go from the 510 on the SB to the AFSs 901 threads? I think you are having issues with that adapter causing a short and burning out the switches. The AFS has no possibility of causing a short. It either has to be the adapter OR possibly a bad atty inside the AFS. Check the center pole of the atty and if it looks like the picture below then it is causing the problem. Check the adapter you are using to make sure it has a good gasket between the two poles.... If you over tighten this stuff you can cause problems like this without knowing it. Hope you get it figured out....

You are right. Found that I had driven the battery terminal on the device down so far that it could no longer make contact. After driving the terminal back out it worked fine.
To keep this from happening again I filled the space between the afs and the device with washers. No problems since.

So glad to be of service. And glad you sorted out a way to make it work for ya. I see this every day. Atomizers causing shorts... No; people cause shorts by over tightening.

I just saw it and was wondering if it was one of your designs. I do like the plastic window though. Any plans for a window in your AFS?

I have to make the whole AFS plastic because window will make the AFS to leak. But plastic cant be machined because it will get blur. I have to order these tubes. Its not dificult but a plastic AFS on the GGTS will look teribble and cheap. Also it will break to the first fall on the floor or its threads will open SC my friend. This choice will bring only problems that we dont have now

But why window? Is anyone able to vape 6ml per day so would have to keep an eye on the amount of the liquid in the tank? One would have to keep the button pressed 24/7 and breathe only vapour, also while dreaming!

Insane :D

I vape 12 ml a day! :vapor: But no need for a window, I know exact when to refill. We have to keep the AFS/AVS simple as it is, it has been designed by an expert and he knows what to do!

12ml/day! Mate you should pay less tax as you need no air! :D

Or is it just afs consumes more liquid for it's proper operation than anything else?

Yes, the AFS does, but I also vape a lot. I did reduce the nic level to 12 mg as with the AFS you don't need much to get the kick which is great!

Yes when you get the thing working at 6v you do go through plenty of juice. I also had to reduce my nic level because I am up to about 10ml a day now. I used to vape around 24mg sometimes 36 when I first started vaping. Once the AFS came into the picture I had to reduce the level. It is especially noticeable when you get two or three AFSs going with different flavors in each. When you don't have to stop to drip every four of five puffs you can really go through the juice. There is no need for a break. Hold the device and puff non stop one right after another for hours on end. Your taste buds tell you when to refill. When it stops feeding you know it. Time to refill. A window or plastic tank is not needed and like imeo said would not hold up very long. Personally I wanted this acrylic tank or lid in the beginning because I thought the same thing but once I have used it for a long time I see no need for it. You want the device to last a life time and that is what imeo makes. Products that will last you forever, immortal!

Fair enough :D

Ye for me I also went down to 8mg currently on 3v. Started with 24mg. Probably will go down to 4mg with AVS. Can't really run properly througout the day being stoned on the nic :D

Yeah pretty true (also for 3v)

Yeah, Emonty's pretty much the reason why the Dutch don't have carbon credits. ;)

I also pondered why the afs didn't have a juice window when I first got it. But I got over the slight learning curve of the device and realized it wasn't needed. I'm so glad it doesn't have one now.

Its a cheap copy of the AFS V1 made of cheap plastic and from a man that admited that it was a copy. We have discussed this in past SC my friend:)

google traduction:

I saw you watch all vapers how you to copy a flashlight to create your GGTS?
I do not judge you and believe your work has its fair value (semi-industrial)
good job on round metal numeric,
I even know if you understood why your GG became black on brass and aluminum,
because of the effect electrolysis!!!!

That was a close call. As I said in another post, I couldn't get the atty out of my AFS v2 .. but I did after RUINING IT from gripping it with pliers. My first problem was that it was leaking from somewhere so I knew I needed to empty the barrel and take it apart. Which I did, sort of. Put it back together, nice new atty, no leaks .. BUT .. cannot get the barrel to let go of the top of the GGT .. It is so attached .. don't know where I can grip it to turn. I prefer to use the AFS but sometimes when I am at my office I want to make it small and attach a 901-LR atty for what feels like 6v vaping .. Any suggestions on how to get the brass fitting to unscrew from the top of the GGT when it is on too tight ??
