why not wind your coils to end up with a higher resistance like 1.4Ω total or something, so that your juice usage is much less?

I prefer the type of vape I get at that spot (or a little above or below). Nice, full, saturated vape. Since I DIY, my juice budget is the least expensive portion of this habit/hobby/infatuation, so running through more juice is not a concern for me. But you raise a good point nonetheless -- juice consumption would be less at higher resistances.

I've got two V4 Foggers. There are variations within the V4 line that can be hard to spot when you're looking for them online. The biggest variance is the size of the build deck and chimney. The "middle versions" had a larger deck and chimney, the same parts for which are used in the Big Fogger. This means less tank capacity in those versions. The first versions and the newest versions have a smaller deck and chimney. And the airflow control is a little different between the variations.

All that said, I'm a big fan of any/all of them and haven't had much of an issue. Just like the T7 though, there's a bit of a learning curve when it comes to how much wick to use and where you place it. There's at least two good threads about it on here, should you need any help. :)

I think I will also try another inexpensive original, the Fogger V4. Regardless, I really like this Aga....convinced a friend to get one also.

Been thinking of that myself, but had such a horrible time with the Fogger V2 that I can't convince myself to pull the trigger on it as of yet. Plus, wanted to see what the Smok RBST looks like -- should be out soon.

has anyone worked out an easy fill method for the AGA-T7 (like I saw one guy who seems to have rigged up a long cylindrical tiny rigid metal tube to his fill bottle), and also, has anyone come up with a replacement for the tiny fill screw to make dealing with it easier?

i use a small needle bottle...it holds 10ml so its not that bad on the go....
t thought of using a longer phillips screw...but youd have to grind an indentation in your driptip....so i didnt...
im used to it and its not a big deal anymore.....but it was a pain in the ayus for awhile

Tried a single coil in the A7 just to see how it would perform. Not bad -- took off the top coil and was left with just the bottom one at 1.4 ohms. Packed the deck with rayon and got through the tank without any leaking and just a wee bit of flooding at the start that cleared up. I prefer the double coil in terms of vape quality, but a single will work. Found it similar to a Kayfun in terms of performance, with the prime difference being a wonderful airy draw.

Also found out that if you have juice on your fingers the glass can pop out of your hands and hit the floor with enough speed to bounce. No breakage, but I don't think I want to try that again to see if I can go 2-for-2.

But in case...anyone got a line on where replacement glass can be purchased?

vapercompany.com has them for 4.95.

Thanks! May have to pick one up soon. Also saw they carried the T5, which I had not seen before. Looks to be the single coil version of the T7. Looks nicer, with the brass AFC ring and top, and the glass appears to be integrated in the top section rather than be in separate pieces as in the T7. Still has that horrible set screw at the top for filling. I think the T7 has a better design, but this could be an option for those who prefer single coils.

Video of the T5 is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GSxoLOnI7BE

I knew AGA-T7 could do better.
I took two coils of 1.0 ohm each and put them one into the other. One, the inner coil is made of 0.6 mm Kanthat ribbon and the outer of 0.8 mm. I put a layer of Rayon in-between the coils and added more Rayon on the outside to prevent leaking. All that while keeping a hole in the middle of the inner coil unobstructed. I then placed this Hybrid Dual Coil/Rayon assembly right over the Airflow.
Well, I think it blows Fogger out of the water now. IMO.

have I been asleep at the switch here? - one of the things that got me excited about the AGA-T7 in the first place is that I understood it had a Pyrex tank! - well my unit just arrived and it has a plastic tank! - at least it is a plain flat cylindrical type with no threading! - so I guess I will be ordering Pyrex glass tanks from IBtanked, I don't do plastic! (or juice with PG)

haven't mic-ed the tank yet, but appears to my eye to be a 20mm OD, 1.8 mm wall thickness, 15mm long

I am addicted to WTA - an e-liquid containing the complete alkaloid profile of tobacco, including nicotine and the minor alkaloids, in the proportions they are found in tobacco. So no cheap way for me to DIY, unfortunately :(

PS - don't try WTA, it's so good, you can't go back to nicotine-only e-juice!
