so can we come together as a forum and agree to just use DID clone guys? lol C'mon GUYEZZ...
Well maybe eh no . lol
I have a clone to see what they were like as i use the real DID and yes they vape excellent when properly setup and come at a fraction of the cost of a real DID.
I would suggest the clones for someone just getting into the genesis type atty's and also make the airhole line up as well , then experiment with airhole size as some like the draw tight while others like a more airy type draw most like the airhole between
1mm up to 1.5 mm.
Even if you have the money to spend on a real genesis atty spend it on the clone first to experiment and see what setup suits you .

I love them. I have 5, all "redneck" modded. 1/16" air hole, and clear tubes made from 12ml syringes. I actually like them better than my AGAs and AGA-Ts.

How did you modify the air hole? I would like to make mine smaller. It is way to airy.

I drilled mine out to 1/16". The first ones I bought were originally 1mm holes. The newer ones are 1.5mm. I've never tried making them smaller. I suppose, if I were to try, I'd roll up a little piece of mesh, and put it in the hole, and clip it off flush with the outside of the cap.

When I first got mine, I got them from a couple different sites, so I had a couple with small holes, and a couple with large holes. As it turned out, I liked the larger holes better, so I drilled out the ones with the small holes. When I got my AGA-Ts, they all had small holes, so I drilled all of them out as well. It also depends on how you set them up. I roll my wicks tight. Almost no open space in the middle. I size them so they are fairly snug in the wick hole; and I leave the fill screw in, between fillings. So there is still a little resistance to the draw. Not like sucking air through a McDonalds straw.

Do you find the AGA-T will still leak if you lay it on its side, even with a tight wick and refill screw in?

Not badly. I don't usually leave them on their side for long. I use them on a Provari, which I generally stand up. But I have momentarily laid them on their side, and they're fine.

Good to know. I'll probably just throw my Vamo in this little basket thing I have next to my monitor when I'm not using it and try to break the habit of putting my pvs down on their side.

Think I'm going with the AGA-T with a turquoise and paprika motley tube from IBTanked.

nice. I didn't know you could get tubes for them at IBT? the AGA-T has a reallly thick plastic tube.
like, uncrackable thick in my opinion, for most users needs, although I can't verify that.

Yup. On their site it says you can choose any color. I emailed them to verify if I could get the motley designs and they said they do it.

I was at a vape meet yesterday, and I realized something: there are two versions of the AGA-T. I think they're made by different companies, because one seems to be real steel and is much heavier, and the other is Chromed brass. The biggest cosmetic difference is that the knurling is deeper and more robust on the steel version, and besides that they're nearly identical.

Anyone else know anything about this? I am sure that Youde makes the steel one with the deeper knurling.

edit: ah yeah the finish is shinier on the plated brass version, and it also might be a bit smaller. It definitely is way lighter, my steel one is over 100 grams.

I'm still trying to decide what I'm going to top my Vamo with also. I was looking at the Smoktech R-Tank besides the AGA's. The O.D. is fairly similar. It looks really easy to rebuild too. After seeing the cracks in that Tiamat tank, if I do go with an AGA, I think I'll go with the Hydra and skip the extra tank cost...
