This is interesting - piezoelectric air pump. Thanks for the link perlionsmitnick

My pleasure. Knowing which words to google is my secret weapon.

Agreed, I ordered one last night :)

Cool. I would be interested in the performance results compared to blower type fan. When I first found it I thought it was a squirrel cage type blower which naturally have higher static pressure ability. Forcing enough air through a few tiny holes will require a higher static. With fans, restriction causes cavitation if you will and reduced airflow. With squirrel type blowers, a restriction of the outlet normally results in higher air pressure and increased velocity.

You are using this fan (for big holes and low pressures) for different purposes - high pressure and very small hole. I don't think it will be useful with this design. Toy only. For real air flow through these holes you need another type of device.

Well it worked with my 4mm fan :)
Man let me have my fun and fall flat on my face :)

Looking good. Did you do any sealing around fan housing? Hard to tell from the quick shot of bottom. Some of the flow might be bypassing or recirculating. I like the form factor and quietness of this version compared to first.

Good point, no I did not. I could try som foam sheeting and cut rings to seal it with.
