I remove my cotton, and dry fire it till most of the gunk sizzles off. Takes me 2 - 3 long fires to get the coil to stop smoking from the gunk, as well as till the coils pretty much fires up all nice and red.

I guess the main thing is I can see quite a number of black specks that are just stuck in all the crevices if that makes sense

Or use a toothbrush under running hot water.

I can't help there.
My e-liquids dry burn off with just a small amount of whitish residue that washes off with water.
Never tried BB, out of curiosity what kind of flavor is it?
Noone knows! it's a weird tobacco nutty honeyish graham cracker type. it's addictive though.

When I first got it, it was distinctly graham crackers with this ridiculously overpowering raisin/vinegary smell. HATED it and chucked the bottle aside.

6 months later, it's graham crackers, a rich tobacco and a hint of chocolate. I'm actually reaaaaaally digging it. It's also known to be a crazy gunker though. Hence the coil. Grumble

Bet it's got some NET in it which is notorious for gunking up coils.
If xobeloot comes across this he might be able to help since he uses MM with NETs.
He is in Afghanistan but does occasionally pop in.

ha, gdeal that was a cool gif :)

so back when I first played with mm one thing I noticed was that the coil itself holds so much juice when squonked that it kinda sorta worked even wickless.. not really great mind you, but much closer than a regular coil that's for sure, so today I decided to try a ss mesh wick in the mm and man it's really working good so far, this is as close to a wickless coil as I've gotten, it's like a wickless because even though the ss mesh is still a wick it's not the kind of thing that needs to be changed out often and you can't burn it, just do a nice dry burn when it gunks up and keep going, close to wickless really I guess, nothing but metal... still playing with it to see how it goes but so far looks promising I think

did it the way i do a genie roll it up slip it in and then pulse it till I pulse through any hotspots and get a nice coil glow...

that wick was pretty short lived though, after a few hours I was starting to get a dry throat feeling so I just rewicked with japcotton again :)

metal on metal action would be a throat scratcher. I bet the pulsing was done in few seconds with that Mundy wire lol.

I twisted 2 pieces of 32 gauge and then folded in half and reverse twisted. So I didn't use 3 like MM. Might try now tho
Hey funny seeing you on this thread was bout to try this technique with round lol. I'll post my results in your thread
