Finally tried all 20 from the same vendor which I won't name. Oh lord are they horrible, no wonder I'm finding it so hard to transition to full-time vaping.

The only one I can tolerate is watermelon, and only because I like that chemical-y watermelon bubblegum flavor it has. Some really wretched ones like whiskey and turkish tobacco, what was I thinking ordering them? Menthol blast is another one I sortov like, it's like a vicks vapor rub and clears my sinuses, but I never smoke menthol for health reasons.

Given that there's only so many artificial flavorings out there, how varied is the taste quality in different vendors? I wanna try the notorious gorilla juice and boba's bounty if the option becomes available, maybe 100%VG will be better than 70/30 as well.

All 20 flavors and you liked non? Based on that, I would have to ask you, what is your PV set-up. More importantly, what type of juice delivery device are you using?

The problem may not be with the juice, but with your device. Just something to ponder.

I guarantee that it's because you bought low priced juices to save money. I made that mistake before with MBV/EC Blends... and now I only buy from premium vendors.

i don't know about that, some vendors who I've bought from were low priced and i loved the liquid and I've had expensive ones that I hated!

Thats why I use 100% VG Unflavored....
This ones the best......http://www.innovapor.com/ultrapure-e-liquid/ ECF20 for a discount...
Pure and clean tasting....0-36mg

I highly recommend getting some unflavored liquid. it doesn't offend and is great to have while you are trying other liquids. i vape unflavored a lot cause I like it :)

I ran into some really bad juice when I started vaping. I guess is part of the learning curve. ............................

I don't think it was bad juice, I think you just didn't like the juice. if a vendor is really putting out "bad" juice, they would not stay in business long. again, there are some very poplar vendors whose liquid I just can't like!

Just because a liquid is expensive or over-hyped, doesn't mean it's going to be good.

This. And its important to note that the flavors you choose to try out should make sense with your tastebuds. I've heard people saying "I normally hate blueberries, but thought I'd try the liquid. Thumbs down for this liquid". When I order from vendors, I choose things that I would actually ingest if it weren't just a vape flavor. My favorites are dessert vapes, some fruity vapes, and sweet coffee vapes. I'm not a fan of tobacco vapes, very rarely go with menthol, and stay away from the super citrus flavors.

That said, I agree with the MBV suggestion. Their prices are great and the shipping is better, so pick one or two flavors you think you'd enjoy and try them out. Never throw out stuff you don't like, either, because some people here would vape that stuff. Try registering as a verified member here and head over to Pay It Forward thread where people will take that unwanted juice off your hands instead of seeing it go to waste.

Happy flavor hunting :toast:

It was bad juice, as in it tasted bad. Really bad. Your taking things a little to literal. "I think you just didn't like the juice"? Yes, because is was bad. I can word it differently if you like. It was not good. How's that? It tasted like trash and perfume. I took the caps off all 25 bottles and tested them every two days for 6 days. Every time it gave me a massive headache almost instantly. I then put them in the drawer and tested them once every two weeks. Headaches. After 6 weeks they were slightly better and no more headaches. They were still bad. I've since tried most of those same flavors from other vendors and I liked them just fine. The juice was just not good. There's a Huge difference in some of these juice vendors out their. Others may like them but to me it was bad(not good).

Read somewhere that best way to start off is to think of a beverage you really like. Maybe red Bull or Cola, so go get those juices.

Here in the UK the forums all rave about Grants Vanilla Custard - Until I had that I was real stuck for a go-to vape. Also i find the sweeter juices are better on silica wick at lower power settings.... imho

I've tried a few different vendors, and I do know that there are some seriously crap ones out there. However, I have also tried all over the spectrum for pg/vg blends, and I fall with a preference of 60/40 pg vg. I like some throat hit and some flavor. :)

However, with the chemicallyness of what you're describing, it sounds like you need to let those steep.

The advice on here is sound, but don't disregard your taste buds, especially if you're new to vaping. I've suffered from Taste Duds for about six weeks - food and drink is good, but vaping is really bad. I've been a lot happier since I switched to Biotene toothpaste & mouthwash. I won't ask, but if you're using regular mouthwash and toothpaste, you're drying out your mouth and sinuses, which detracts from vaping mightily.

And don't forget to drink water, drink water, and when you're done, have a nice drink of water.

I ran into some really bad juice when I started vaping. I guess its part of the learning curve. Its amazing how different the same flavor from two different vendors can be. The first juice order I made was 25- 3ml sample bottles for a vendor who had a great sale price at the time. Big mistake.

I've gotta wonder if we all ordered from the same place...Would it be BM by any chance? That stuff was nasty, dirt cheap, and had 3ml sample bottles...

If you liked that "chemically bubblegum" candy taste, go for the vendors that do that well! It's a place to start. I'm going to insult someone, but would suggest that you check out Ms T, DIY Flavorshack, SweetVapes for total sweet-tooth and get simple, familiar deserty flavors to start; and also try Heather's Heavenly and the delicious (not chemically) Kick Bass line and maybe AIV for very good desert flavors. Mt Baker is currently seeing a lot of enthusiasm, but all of those venerable vendors above have had their fan-run also and might please your tastebuds most at this point from what you say.

I enjoyed all of those at some point or another and would still order from Kick Bass any time - their bakery stuff is great and easy to love. I haven't tried Fusion but the positive reviewers seem to be talking about sweet munchies cravings, too - and honestly, I'd go 50/50 VG to start. Just my 2 cents, not sure I read you right but if out of 20 flavors you only liked the bubble-gummy one, maybe stop ordering serious tobacco-types and have some easy fun? The juices I love most now would NOT have been my favorites as a starting-out vaper.

Oh my god what a difference it actually is between vendors! I've tried AVE caramel kicker so far, some bannana slurry and Oak Barrel Cider, it's so insanely better than what I got. I might just stick to this vaping thing :)

I find it weird how I can vape this for longer with my boge cartomizer and it retains flavor, my old stuff would go dry after 6 puffs.

It's a shame I have about 200ml of essentially worthless liquid now.
