do you know what diy flavor shack uses on the ready to vape?
Ingredients: Propylene Glycol (USP Grade), Glycerine (USP Grade), Nicotine (optional), Natural and/or Artificial flavoring. what does this mean?
The usual PG/ VG ratio is 70/ 30 PG/ VG or 80/ 20 PG/ VG. Heavy VG juices are avoided because VG is thick and will clog cartos, attys, carts, etc. MANY vendors are now realizing this is a problem for some and are selling VG based juices with PGA or distilled water to thin the VG based juice out.
Also:
"I believe they use PG as a standard because it gives more of a throat hit and can be made to taste more like tobacco, so it's more like a cigarette. As far as being allergic to PG I'm not so sure averybody that thinks they are allergic to PG really is. PG metabolizes to lactic acid ( same stuff that makes your muscles burn when over used) and it also drys one out more then VG. I believe some people metabolize PG more then others, I believe I am one of them. What seems to happen to me over a day or so of vaping is my chest gets tight and I can feel some burn, my throat gets dry and my glands start to swell, I believe if I was allergic I would have had a reaction in the first few hours. I use VG now and it is much better. VG metabolizes very slowly to glucose (sugar) and it dose not spike. I don't know if one is better then the other all I know is VG works better for me."
Yes, with the right amount of alcohol or water you can get VG eliquids that are quite good even in cartos. My 0PG DIY is plenty thin enough, since the particular organic flavorings I use already have some PGA in them; some people will evaporate off a portion of the alcohol before mixing.
so that means the ingredient list i posted was a blend?
Ok, this description of PG really explains why I had asthma issues before I started using VG liquid to cut my nicotine levels.

Yes. I DIY all my juices but when I was buying pre made I always knew EXACTLY what I was buying- as a consumer that's my right. Same thing with my DIY. I buy in bulk but DO NOT compromise the quality of my juice. It's as pure as one can get without anything harmful in it.
im too afraid to mix my own yet, lol! you are right, i should know exactly what i am buying!
I use Natures Flavors Organic coffee flavorings system flavorings. Organic Flavors for coffee beans
For 0PG tobacco blends I use theperfumersapprentice (TPA) tobacco blend alc. Perfumers Apprentice - Tobacco Blend (Alc)
(I'll also use TPA tobacco absolute diluted, for adding an extra tobacco kick to other mixes)
For menthol, you can use either menthol crystals or, what I do, just buy menthol liquid concentrate (tpa sells it, as does voidmist)
For good 0PG mints, faeriesfinest mint flavors extract assortment can be fun to play with.
VG doesn't really change the nic at all, you can still mix the same mg/ml in 0PG, just that you switch to a VG nicotine base. Generally you'll notice a lot more vapor when you go 0PG, more "lung hit". voidmist generally has good prices on nicotine base, consistent good quality, fairly frequent sales.
Look in the DIY E-liquid area of this forum, loads of good info if you decide it's time to dabble in DIY. Generally it's good to get your vaping down first, some commercial eliquids that are okay for you, then try DIY if you are still interested in it.
No I agree but when you are settled in we'll show you- it's cheap and easy. First point is to resolve your issues. Feel free to contact the vendors and question them. Here's the ECF Health Forum:
Health, Safety and E-Smoking
I was hoping to resolve this before New years.
P.S. I've seen many other vapers with issues and once they've figured out the problem they've been fine.
Good Luck, Vapoor.
No, these are raw materials.
Here's a forum area specific to VG: VG USERS ONLY
Two weeks without analogs is right in the ballpark for a bout of "quitter's flu". So, while she is struggling to figure out what there might be in her juice that is causing her issues, it could easily be just her body's final protest against the sudden withdrawal of tobacco.
Just throwing that out there.
did the switch get rid of the problem? did you notice a different with the quality of vape? does vg cut down nic levels? sorry so many ?
