Almost a year vaping, what's the actual, factual "tale of the tape"?

I'm told its a "rite of passage" for new hires at E-One, after your first successful project, to drive the new engine around the parking lot, wearing a fire chief's hat, while your co-workers cheer ...

Every boy's dream ... :D

Drove by there today. They had a BUNCH of engines out there.

I see them around town on test rides. You can tell from the out of town Fire Dept markings on them and
them looking Brand New.

Smoking cost me $3,000 a year. My DIY is about 1.2 cents per ml, 8 cents a day, $30 a year. Part of the hobby for me is figuring out how to have a first quality vape for the least cost and how to be immune to government interference for 10 years. I've spent a fraction of what I've saved by not smoking. My best estimate is 3 liters of nic plus half a dozen rda's and a half dozen mods should keep me vaping for a decate if necessary. That much in supplies isn't much money these days, cheap insurance. If it's apparent a crack down is coming, and there is a grace period, I'll double up.

    Funny...
    • my 1st mod is sitting on the night stand - good for a few puffs late and night or early morning
    • #2 is in the 'throne room', ready for a few pulls anytime I'm sitting in there
    • all the 'also rans' have tanks mounted and juice, I ought to rinse them out if I'm not going to use them
    • I lost count on how much stuff I've bought
I try to keep my monthly expenditures to be less than what I would of spent on smoking but it does not always add up that way. In the end I have a bunch of stuff rather than a bunch of ashes and stinky ciggybuts. I still count it as a WIN.

hahah. I dont really look at the money saved more the money I would have saved if I was in Canada. Here Stinkies are like 4.50$ a pack. In canada, where i was from, it was about 11-12$ a pack. so... I guess if I was in canada, I am about 5000 dollars not spent on Cigarettes. (I know the math doesnt add up well, but I smoked more here because they were so cheap) . I spend about 100 dollars a month now (I think. I am not really sure how much I vape. Its quite a bit. I think... 200+ ml a month....? I try to spend limit to 150... but some months I dont buy anything.
But I think its finally starting to add up in to positives... I spent a lot getting started. couple thousand I believe was my startup cost
