Congrats on your 2 year Vapeversery! :vapor: Today I'm at 2 years, 2 months, and 20 days! My how time just flies without the stinkies around! I had a pack and a half when I bought my eGo starter kit. That pack and a half lasted 3 weeks and that was it, I was done with them after the first week of vaping but at what they cost a pack, I wasn't wasting it! Since then I had two cigs not because I was craving them but to just see if I'd still like them......I didn't!
vaping is the biggest shock of my life because I honestly didn't think I'd be able to quite smoking!

Same, I just couldn't believe how easy it was! :D

Same here!
Tried everything available that was FDA approved for many years. Tried cold turkey a dozen times, but nothing worked.
Dual used with cigalikes for almost 2 years (that didn't work, either) until I bought my first eGo and Kanger mini. Quit entirely that same day!
I've advanced in my gear since then, but it was Real Vaping that not only got me off of combustibles, but has greatly reduced my nic intake.

I've only tried the patch and the gum and neither were effective in the least bit. A lot of folks told me to try Chantix but there was no way I was going anywhere near that with the side effects that it offered! Thanks but no thanks, my job gives me enough nightmares unmedicated, the last thing I need is for them to be enhanced!
I quit cold turkey when I was in Basic Training, that lasted until graduation and I picked up where I left off without missing a beat!
My father actually started vaping before me using those V2 setups, now he was a hardcore smoker and when I saw how well he did, I gave it a try and the rest is history. Totally blew the ol "Too good to be true" saying out of the water"!

3 Blu disposables, an eGo C starter kit, and 2 REOs later and all is well!

Chantix is the only thing I never tried - for the same reason you avoided it.
The cigalikes I used were part of a Blu rechargeable kit, v1. Liked the flavor, but couldn't satisfy my "fix."
I worked for a small ad agency for years and the owner offered $500.00 to any of us that could quit cold turkey and stay off for at least a month.
Even that incentive didn't work - though I worked hard at it.
That was in the 90s when 500 was a heck of a lot of money.

500 buck for a month of cold turkey sounds tempting even more so in the '90s...That's damn near 25-30 cartons right there!!, but I wouldn't have lasted much before lunchtime!
I started smoking around '91/'92 and regularly by '93. By '97 when I was in Basic Training it got so bad that I was dreaming that I was smoking and it was so real that when I woke up I had such an intense craving for a smoke, it wasn't even funny!!

Started in '79 when I was already old enough to know better (19).
Was living in Israel at the time and it became a matter of self-defense.

I was only a year old in '79 living down wind from TMI.....explains a lot!
Lol!
Got my azz arrested in '84 for " blocking entrance and egress" to the island trying to keep unit 2 closed.
50 of us in a bus with state troopers. The whole way to the courthouse, the troopers kept apologizing for arresting us and thanked us for standing up for the community!

Nice! Nothing freaks me out more then going over the towers while flying into HIA. I'm surprised they don't have a good chunk around the island as a no fly zone, but then again the runway is only a few miles away. Didn't think that one thru very well.

As of 10:30 this morning it would have been two years since my last cigarette. Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined that I would be able to be (happily) away from smoking. Vaping has saved my life!!

Congrats on another major milestone!

Oddly enough we share the same quit date, today (about an hour ago) marks 2 years for me too!

Here's to many more!

CONGRATULATIONS!
Now go treat yourself!
