Am I doing something wrong with my new Nautilus Mini?

Hey guys I read a bunch of reviews on these nautilus Mini's and bit the bullet and purchased one from here Electronic Cigarette | E Cigarette | myvaporstore

Anyway to be honest I do not see what all the hype is about. Mine doesn't perform any better then a basic Kanger Evod Glass or a generic little plastic tank.

Seriously I vape on a MVP 2.0 and the vape production is the same. Taste may be a tiny bit better but that is it. Normally I like to vape on 8.5 but with this if I do that I get barely anything. If I set it up to 10.5 or even 11 I get the same amount I get from a Kanger Evod Glass but it feels kinda hot and uncomfortable.

Any ideas or suggestions?

I've had mine for about a week and I like it. It's not an insane cloud machine, but it vapes superbly, and without much fuss. Also, I've yet to get a dry hit and I'm still on my first coil from 5 days ago, vaping quite heavily.

I don't think for a second that it can out-perform my kayfuns, but it's a whole lot easier to fiddle with.

Just keep vaping it and see what you think in the long run, overall I think most will agree it does great for a replaceable coil head.

I found it takes a little bit of juice to really get the BVC coil going. On my Provari I'm vaping 4.5 volts...ZNA 11 watts. The BVC for me produces a lot more flavor. Cloud vapor has been about the same.....I use 20PG/80VG so I have some nice clouds.

The coils are lasting me 2 weeks before cleaning.

Good Luck to You...Happy Vaping!!!

Have you tried different air settings? You might be over wicking at a lower setting. Tight Draw - try opening it up.

Mini is NOT Dual Coil. it is Vertical coil and yes, it will need good flow as well as a bit higher power to work properly.

Remember:
Small Air opening = tighter draw and more e-liquid transfer
Larger Air opening = looser draw and less liquid transfer

You have to fine your happy place. :)

a single coil will require less power as one will heating only one coil. [emoji2]

That may be true with most systems, but I'm not sure it applies correctly to the Nautilus BVC. Like many have said the BVC seems to blossom at higher voltage and on my Provari where the bottom dual coil Kanger's at 2 ohm, tasted a bit harsh quickly at 3.8 volts, my Nautilus 1.8 BVCs really shine at 4.4 - 4.5 volts. What I can say without any hesitation is the BVC tastes infinitely better than my Kanger Mega and bdc coils and produces significantly better vapor. In fact I just sold my Kanger as it's just sitting in a drawer and collecting dust since I got the Nautilus.

Not higher as in vs. Dual coul
Higher as in vs. Squatty horizontal coil blocking 1/2 the air channel :D

Air flow is smoother and more open so it will also cool the coil quicker. Wicking is much larger so it will have more available e-liquid. Slightly higher power is definitely a Plus. Not talking double, more like a couple of watts.

I second this recommendation. While I haven't had a dud in the BVCs I've used to date, I can say each of them has vaped differently. I'm on my 3rd coil and this one is vaping better than the first two. These are production line coils, which will have some degree of manufacturing defects.
