Guys, you're confusing mA with mAh again. On the USB passthrough issue, a battery pack or car charger for a passthrough has to have a rated output of at least 1000 mA, or 1A (that's 1000 milliamps, or 1 amp).
The mAh figure (milliamp hours) is what you look for in how long a battery is expected to last on a charge. So for example, the little batteries in most ecigs are rated at 150 or 200 mAh, while the batteries used in the SD are rated at say 850 or 1000 mAh, meaning they will last longer.
