Most people on this forum are very well aware that nicotine is addictive and want to make sure that you're treating that fact with respect. Addictions, and it is ADDICTIVE, aren't things to be taken on lightly.
That said, I'm all for what consenting people want to do on a voluntary basis.
I didn't pick up smoking analogs because it "was cool". I started doing it because the buzz of a cigarette was explained to me and I wanted to try it. I smoked and enjoyed the buzz. I kept doing it.
At some point, I realized even in the morning I wasn't getting that buzz because I had become a nicotine addict.
I think it's a little silly and disingenuous as people who like and respect the vaping hobby NOT to be honest about it. A non-smoker could pick up a PV with nicotine and find a pleasant buzz from it. The same buzz that kept us all choking down burning tobacco in the first place.
PVs aren't entirely intended to be a replacement for smoking. PVs are intended to be a means of delivering a controlled amount of nicotine and flavor to the user of it. Would I personally pick one up and vape nic if I weren't a smoker, probably not. But I'm not going to knock someone down or insult them if that's a choice they choose to make.
