This has been a really interesting conversation!
Like so many people in this forum, I have been able to put cigarettes down successfully for the first time because of e-cigarettes. A 36 year habit in my case. It is frightening that the "gateway" or other subjective arguments may be used to ban or regulate their use.
I love e-cigarettes. In many ways more then I enjoyed smoking
tobacco.
But to be honest, I am just hoping that I have switched to a fairly harmless substitute. The jury is still not completely in on that yet.
I think people were wise at the beginning of this
thread to warn against starting for the sake of starting.[/QUOT
Yep, if we could only do it over again. I hate to see anyone start on a bad (lifelong) habit. Smoking, eating, drugs, abusive men (???) anything really. If you don't smoke, then don't. My 2 cents.
