As my old boss always said, "Eat right, exercise, and die anyway." :D I choose to just..live. I could never consume sugar, run 12 miles every day, not vape anything...and get hit by a bus tomorrow. Might as well enjoy what I like to enjoy! All things in moderation, 'cause too much of anything will kill ya ;) Just my :2c:

Integrity: I don't know if its safe, there's evidence to support it is not only not safe but down right dangerous... meh, I'll sell it anyway.

in·teg·ri·ty [in-teg-ri-tee]
noun
1.
adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character; honesty.

This is going to sound very Dorff-like but we're all adults here. We have the ability and brainpower to evaluate and make our own decisions regarding our person. That being said, Clark offers honesty and transparency in regards to certain ingredients being in certain flavors, that's more than a lot of companies (e-liquid and otherwise) do. You then have the ability to take that info and make an informed decision for yourself as to whether you want to run that risk.

This is the beauty of choice. I respect people who abstain, I mean, everyone's tolerance for risk is different...

Are these chemicals hazardous if you do not inhale them? I don't inhale my vapor. I just let it linger in my mouth for a while then blow it out. With that said, I do occasionally slip and inhale but those slips are few a far between.

Likely not a problem, these same chemicals are found in coffee, beer, wine, and cheese, among other products.

Yea, I stopped inhaling my CLS for the time being.....im gonna have a hell of a time not buying it....this stuff is the .........sooo good...I guess that's one way of lowering risk is by not inhaling, and plus you get better nic delivery by not inhaling anyway. So if you see the guy stumbling around the gas station slurring with a Provari in his hand, that's just me ripping my 18mg CLS, high as hell on nicotine.

This is a common misconception with vapor - 95% of the nicotine transmission can take place if you simply allow it to linger in your mouth and exhale through your nose!

This is the key. Vendors being transparent about the risks, consumers evaluating them, and then making an informed decision about whether or not to engage in a potentially risky behavior, in an effort to avoid the world's leading cause of preventable death. If you like a liquid that contains diacetyl (from another vendor), and you are willing to accept that risk in lieu of the fact that you have determined there is no other option to prevent you from an alternative higher on the continuum of risk - by all means, hit it. If there is any acceptable option lower on the continuum of risk that you consider palatable, by all means, investigate. If possible, reduce the risk as much as is possible, all while reducing the possibility of receding to options that are higher on the continuum of risk.

Slam dunk.

Well said Clark! :thumb:

Personally, in my chosen profession, if I inhaled nothing but the air around me I will end up with silicosis long before any part of vaping e-juice would hurt me.

We had a remodel in our studio in 2006 and because asbestos was known to be in part of the building they were ripping apart we had to have air sensors placed all around. They were put in place and turned on to start their readings at 3:30pm one Tuesday. On Wednesday morning at 5:30am I walked into our studio with screaming alarms everywhere. The OSHA guy was called and he got there at 7am and was completely blown away that every one of his air testers were overloaded by the clay dust in the studio. He said he had never experienced an area whose level of dust toxicity was so high and if we were a private entity rather than a city property he would shut us down immediately until air scrubbers were put in place. He said he would also order all employees of the studio to wear big filter masks with filters replaced every day.

So I'm a potter, I accept that risk, I accept the fact I am choosing to possibly shorten my life due to silica buildup in my lungs. Hell, there is no way to get out of this life alive. I choose quality versus quantity. Every time you walk out your front door you are facing death, that is the reality.

I see what you did there. Kinda like twisting someone's words to present them in a negative light isn't exactly a display of integrity. So I guess the people who sold my Ninja were unprincipled. They knew what my bike was capable of yet they still sold it anyways. See how that works? Anyone can spin anything to try and make a point, usually one that evades personal responsibility. The operative word in your sentence was....."sell".

Kent "Clark" doesn't force people to purchase his liquids. The adults over the age of 18 make a choice, and are even advised of the possible risks that are known, which implies informed consent.

Go check out IMPROOF, read the statements that all of those scientist from the WHO made and say it's not a fact that many smokers have converted over to vaping. As Kent stated, and I truly believe as well, he sincerely and completely believes not only is vaping better than smoking but that not vaping is better than vaping! He's smart enough to know though that people are going to smoke, but presented with a choice they may very well vape and eventually quit vaping as well. Take the option to vape away and more people are going to smoke. Add vaping to the equation and more people are going to quit, this too has been proven! This is about harm reduction, that many like Kent believe leads ultimately to harm elimination. Up until this point it hasn't even been mentioned about those who may choose to start off vaping over smoking if given the choice!

Wise people know that 100% harm elimination is unrealistic, but high numbers of harm reduction are very realistic. Would it be better if Kent or other vendors just "gave" his e-liquid away. Would that be more integral? Or is it better if people continue to buy cigarettes and still smoke?

I highlighted the operative words for emphasis and to make it easier to comprehend. I know one thing for certain. Kent and Nicoticket as a whole displays loads more integrity then most of the vendors I have come across! I believe if Kent discovered tonight that vaping was more harmful then smoking or caused significant damage in any capacity, he would close up shop first thing in the morning! If he believed for one minute that vaping was preventing people from quitting smoking I seriously doubt he would continue to sell it. From my experience regarding him, that's the kind of person he is. Unfortunately for you, twisting the situation and circumstances as you have, reveals you to be the kind of person you are as well.

It's simple. If you think vaping or any aspect of it is more harmful then what you're willing to endure, then DON'T buy it or do it! What would your motive be though to come onto an e-cigarette forum created with vapers in mind, to discredit a decent and credible guy? Do you even vape? Either way it doesn't make much sense....

Facing death even if you don't walk through that front door. It comes to us all. Some say thankfully - it is that ever present risk of finality that drives us to seize the moment and enjoy life for what it really is... temporary.

And to live in the moment as completely as possible. At any moment in time during my 26+ years smoking analogs I knew I felt horrible smoking them but could never get off them. Now at any given moment I feel so much better and I thank vaping for this but don't feel the demanding addiction as I did with smokes. I enjoy vaping and keep going with it for now but can easily see living my life without vaping as much as I do or at all. But in this moment I cling to vaping like a security blanket. Even in this present moment I would choose vaping over smoking. THAT is a miracle, the rest will happen or no...live for today as anything after this one moment is just a guess...

Wait, you mean the workers were also smokers, and they didn't account for that? /sigh

This is why bad science makes me yelly. Same with all those studies about things causing cancer tested on rats who genetically get cancer easily!! Or more specifically the test about vape and cigarettes causing cells to become cancerous WHEN THEY WERE MANIPULATED GENETICALLY TO MUTATE TO CANCEROUS EASILY!!! And no friggen control...again, bad science makes me yelly....sorry...
