Am I the only one who doesn't think think the Provari is "all that"?

With everything I said above, I'm still looking at getting another VV mod.
The eVic is starting to interest me because it's got the whole VW thing and it looks nice.
I like that Joye is listening to their customers and they fixed the mispelled words and whatnot.
Looks like a good device. But I will always have the security in knowing I can get my prov repaired.
Even if its 6 years down the road.

Occasionally you'll hear about a problem with a Provari but itss usually fixed very quickly.NOTHING is 100 percent perfect all of the time.

As far as adding the extra buttons and all the other bells and whistles its a proven scientific fact that the more components an object has the more its prone to failure. Try to add more options at a cheaper price and you're cutting corners somewhere and/or contributing to horrible factory conditions in some third world country.

Everyone always complains about the menu system buts honestly its not that hard or inconvenient.Sometimes I go weeks without going into the menu.

The interesting thing about the Evic is watching how the firmware updates come out and can just be downloaded. Its not only become a true variable wattage device, but now can also have user defined vw changes during the vape.
I'd be interested to hear how you find it if you get one.
I've seen two posts this week from guys who said they put the provari on back up status now they have an evic.

I ordered some Kool-aid, it'll be here Friday or Saturday. I'll give an honest opinion either way and I have a few of the popular alternatives to compare it to.

Out of curiosity, when you tried it...was it someone else's entire setup? I'll give it an apples to apples with the things I vape.

Nope, with my stuff. Set it up identically to my old LT and couldn't tell any significant difference.

First off, I am not a fanboy, part of a cult, just a person that appreciates quality when they see it. I am tired of all the money I spent on junk products. A YJ 2.5 months old- basically a paper weight. When my YJ was working, I can tell you the same voltage, same juice, same delivery system, different results. The vape was much more constant on the ProVari than my YJ. If you look thru about people getting new devices the comparison is always "insert name or ProVari".

Yeah, but YJ is junk. Everyone knows that. Really :).

A battery is a battery. They all vape the same.

Provaris are extremely accurate, very well-built, and backed up by the company that makes them. If those things are important to you, you'll probably love a Provari. If they're not, and you just want something that can hold your battery under your atty until it dies, go for something cheaper.

Incidentally, in response to Zap's comment, I have about 10 PVs, and I still love the Provari. I have others I love as much, too, a couple I hate, and some I just tolerate, but even with all the other ones I use I still appreciate what makes the Provari a really great PV.

Point taken, that was a broad generalization obviously it doesn't apply to everyone. I was more specifically referring to people who owned 10-20 PVs and didnt own a Provari.

Maybe I should have said cheap collectors :) I doubt I'll ever understand that particular concept but to each their own and even more so if it keeps them off cigarettes :toast:

The vaping experience isn't going to be any different with a Provari.

But it will be more consistent. Pretty much across the board.

You can count on it to work. Outside a few isolated incidents, you'll barely see anybody post an issue with the Vari.

As with all PVs, its for some and not for others. Price point is too high, styling isn't fitting, lack of eGo connection, no VW are just a few things that'll turn people off of it. But, again as with all PVs, nobody is gonna force another to buy it.

I think a lot of people go throwing around "its the best!" when in actuality it should be "its the best I've found/used!"

You can pretty much exchange the word Provari for anything else in this world and you'll find 'fanboys' and 'haters.'

how long did you own a provari ??

After April you will understand

Are we talking in regards to what the fda does.
How come I get told, "its just a battery holder" but now I have a YJ and now told "everyone knows its junk". I thought a battery holder is a battery holder? So what you are saying there are different quality battery holders?

My first battery holster was an LT2. It worked well. Then I decided to get the "Made in America" ProVari mini. For me, it was night and day. I can't put it into words but I felt more "secure" using the ProVari. And, in my opinion, the same Atty vapes better on the ProVari mini than it does on my LT2. I guess if a lot of people are praising it there must be something to all that.
