Those results being, in order of prominence:
1. BAD CHEST PAIN and cough, after a full day's vaping.
2. poor vaporizing (not nearly as vaporizable as commercial liquid)
3. taste not very strong

I see everyone here laughing and having a jolly old time with their lorann's mixtures and i just want to know if anyone else is having similar problems. All my mixtures, with various flavors, have been
20% lorann's flavoring
10% 36mg juice
70% PG

am i the only one?

I have really tried to get lorrann to taste good and cannot. I have alot of the flavors since my hometown drugstore sells them. I just cannot get a good taste. I end of wasting my juice. I got the unflavoed e-juice and still cannot get it right.
My mix smells so good, but taste of the vapor is bad. I follow the directions on this forum.
I have about just gave up.

The amount to use depends entirely on the type of flavor. Many of the juices are oil based or too thick to be used and many others taste like the candy version of the flavor (great if you like that).

While taste is subjective, out of about 40 flavors I have found maybe 5 that I really enjoy so maybe its just a matter of keeping at it.

As a general rule, if its dark and/or thick I avoid it. I really don't want to paint my lungs.

I never use more than 10% loranns. Also, if I use more than 50% PG my chest hurts so bad on each inhale that I cannot breathe in long enough to even get any vapor....it is so wierd. I'm not allergic per se, I just am very intolerant of breathing in PG vapor....you may also try using some VG (this doesn't hurt my lungs AT ALL). Also, try different flavors. Strong coffee can sometimes hurt my lungs...but then again, as long as it's not pure PG it doesn't hurt NEAR as bad.

I got rid of all PG and all my issues with drying and chest pain went away. I also found that when I went to VG over (usually animal based) Glycerin, I could vape as long and as hard as I wanted with no more side issues.

Here is the excerpts from the lab that did the TW and Gammuci tests:

PG:
Not currently recognized as giving any health hazards.
However, it is listed as a suspected respiratory toxicant, suspected skin or sense organ toxicant, suspected neurotoxicant, and a suspected immunotoxicant.

Glycerin:
Non Hazardous

I'm really not sure why people use PG other than it seems to be a bit truer to the flavoring.

For me, after buying all the their flavors that Lorann sells that are compatible in with atomizers (Water soluable, no food coloring, polysorbate 80) IMO the Lorann flavors loss some of their strength real quick once opened. I have noticed this to the point where some flavors I actually can not taste anymore untill I purchase and use a new bottle. That is why I have retreated to buying Drams instead of large bottles. So IMO, the concentration of these Flavors have a very short life span---Sun

I've been following the advice of the concensus... it's been wonderful. No pain whatsoever!

I vaped diy like a lunatic yesterday upon getting my glycerine from Lorann's. It's really wonderful... except today i woke up with this feeling of something coating my bronchial tubes and/or lungs. It didn't hurt or anything... perhaps it tickled. I found it to be maddening however... I was trying to cough it up as if it were mucous.

So as i experiment with mixtures of PG and VG and such, the question I pose to you all is: have you ever felt that VG "coated your inner breathing passages"?

A million thanks to all you helpful people. Since I've started vaping I feel as though I've been .....ing on this board about all these problems I have... and after I resolve this I will have finally arrived to the promiseland of 100% complete problem-free vaping.
