Cool, it seems I have acquired a new Super Power!
I have the Power to make Rickajho read things he doesn't want to, is sick of, or both.
However, not being of the Super Hero ilk, I will be using this power to force him to read all kinds of things he hates such as yet another "Nautilus vs Aero" threads, or maybe an insidious never done to death "What e juice are you vaping thread"
Now if I can just figure out how to use this power to get rich, or conquer the world.

no but I use terms like vape pen for the thin ones, vape stick for the reg ones and vape pipe for the fat ones

Being a musician/sound engineer for the last 23 or so years, yeah I wondered what the hell people were doing calling them analogs too.. Makes no sense to me heh.

Um......OK......Have you looked at your own signature? How many "analogs" have you avoided?
I didnt make the graphic, the forum did.. I just filled out the numbers..
I don't smoke them anymore, I don't care what anyone calls them, and quite frankly I'm disappointed in myself for reading through half of this thread.

lol, it's funny because when I first started reading this forum and I saw people saying analog instead of cigarette I was thinking that cigarette was sorta like a dirty word around here. I actually have edited posts to change it to analog instead of cigarette for that very reason because I didn't want to come off as an uncultured oaf that causes people to relapse by using the c-word.
I catch myself writing juice instead of e-liquid all the time. I know I have posted about disliking that word a lot, and yet I still use it. I skim read my own posts and go back and change each instance to e-liquid... Don't really know why.
As for the term analogue / analog I think a lot of it is that we were used to calling them cigarettes previously. Now we don't use them, we want a differentiating word to use instead.
I personally don't use it, but I don't feel any rage about those that do.
True, but you chose the graphic, which includes referring to cigarettes as analogs. There are many signature graphics you could have chosen, which don't. Like mine. My point was really tongue in cheek as you commented you don't get the analog reference, yet it was right there in your signature.
What a pity, then you missed where I acquired super powers.

Just throwing this out there. 'Analog' sorta works by figurative extension-- from your OP, if you take "mechanism" to be "method of nicotine delivery" and "signal" to be heat, then cigarettes are 'analogs' with a continuous signal (the lit end is on fire) to heat tobacco, while PVs use a digital/ pulse signal to heat the e-liquid.

I have a 50/50 mixture of 2, in each of my main tanks (have like 5 ECTO T9 tanks for flavors, all 12 mg nic)
Kanger mini pro 3 on a vision spinner 2, half a 50/50 PG/VG 18 mg nic Casino 21 tobacco flavor, and half 100% VG 12 mg nic Cowboy Red tobacco flavor.
Also have a Kanger Aero Mini, on a Inokin Itaste 3 VV with the same mixture, but using a 6 mg nic, and a 0 mg nic fluid (PG, VG, and flavors the same as in the mini 3
