What i mean is, to qualify my comment. i was making it assuming all resistances being equal, i actually haddnt thought about the effect of higher ohm Duals. Though i think theres still provari issues there. Good food for thought there.

I guess my only point really being, happy as hell with Resurrectors. DCC might be better for me Might not. Cant say yet, as to be honest all the cartos ive had are Resurrectors. BUT what i can say, is the Odysseus will Make them all look like childs toys ( Opinion here, been looking for a good rebuild-able, Luckily i diddnt pull the trigger before hitting the GG Subform )

As far as the "Provari issue" goes, I really have no idea. I've seen people claiming that the higher ohms of the individual coils should mean they don't trip protection circuitry and I've seen people claiming that the low effective ohms means they will. I don't understand the "theory" of it to have a clue one way or the other what "should" happen--but I've seen people report practical experience both ways. The only thing I know for sure is they would work just as well as the 1.7's in the same application because for all practical purposes that's what they are.

I'm happy as a pig in 5h!+ with the DCC's. I was curious about the 1.7's because of all the hype. Now that I've had a chance to try one, my initial reaction is--nothing. They pretty much seem equal to me so far. I will be interested to see if there are any long-term differences, but at this point I don't see a reason to pick one over the other. There are fundamental differences in their construction, so the 'care and feeding' will be slightly different, but my prognosis at this point is:

If you're happy with 1.7's, stick with them. If you're happy with DCC's, stick with them. I have plenty of both at the moment, but when it comes time to reorder my choice will likely be based entirely on price and convenience--barring some possible long-term difference I haven't seen yet.

Pw did i ever tell you i loved you? True an honest opinions, with the reasons behind those opinions. also, aside from the Provari issue, which i dont understand and i have one. Your conclusion matched Grimmgreens, and he hasnt led me wrong yet.

Also "I'm happy as a pig in 5h!+ with the DCC's." you mean the Resurrectors Right? just for clarity.

No, I meant the DCC's. That's part of the full-disclosure thing; since I was writing a review/impression of the 1.7 Resurrectors, I felt it only fair to point out at the beginning that I am a DCC fanboy :) DCC's are my cartomizers and Vapage/AMG Hybrids are my atomizers.

Been using the DCC's for months--this is the first Rezzie I've ever tried. Since I really don't see a functional difference between them yet, I will probably say the same about the rezzies before too long, but my statement was an explanation of why I've never tried the 1.7's before. Tried the DCC's back in June, couldn't imagine a carto being any better, never bothered to try any others.* Been seing the hype for the 1.7's, but I'm already vaping 1.6's that do everything people are raving about with the 1.7's so I never saw a reason to spend money to try them...

* I tried other cartos before the DCC's. Regular cartos are just that--like an atomizer-tank with padding to mute the flavour. CE2's are some kind of torture device--they run dry half-way through the first draw and then have to be tipped sideways to "reload" the wick if they're less than 3/4 full.

Well I'm thinking we don't disagree. After using the 1.7 all night and putting about 2.5ml through it, I'm really not seeing a preference one way or the other. I'm going to have to set up a head-to-head test in Texas--brand new 1.7 vs brand new DCC, with and without tank--to see if I can find any sort of marginal differences, just because it will be fun.

But frankly I feel confident at this point saying that I can't see any reason to recommend one over the other. I've got 13 still-wrapped DCC's and 8 still-wrapped Resurrectors sitting in my tackle box and I'll probably be reordering both when the time comes, simply because they both go on sale at times.

I don't have any fancy PV's to test whether one is more likely to trip built-in protection than the other, but so far they seem identical on both 3.7 and 6 volts in the Prodigy and a Hog. I'll throw 'em both on the GGTS and the GGTB--and my regulated 5v when I finish rebuilding it--but I seriously doubt there will be any objective difference at all...

The tank, if put togeather carefully with some simple tools for finishing, looks absolutely Gorgeous. I used, A razor to get the extra rubber trimmed and a foam sanding block to polish the ends. took about 15 mins, told mom if she wants one of the tanks for good shes gonna have to order 2 of the bigger kits and we can have one of each, each. Or maybe when i order some of the M&P Magic. Ill get her one and surprise her. Bottom line, the tanks are great, M&P are great. And at the price, you REALLY can afford to have a tank for every flavor. now to see if i can have a mod for every flavor!

the new one was with a FRESH carto, came out at 1.55ish ohms. Gave errors all anything above 3.6. However, at 3.5 its Destroying vapor, Flavor, and TH. Its like roughly 3 parts AVE Apple Teaser, 1 part Very Berry Blueberry. This tank makes EVERY hit perfect

And this Mudderfudger is THIRSTY. Tank was filled at like 10PM. and i was "Distracted" from 12:15 till now. and its already dropped the juice level significantly. Im gonna wait till its like at 2/3 full and add some Watermelon overload so the juice is pink.

Not gonna help i Feel MUCH better. And took the time to get way better pics will it? its the Black chrome finish, i love it. Though im Tough on my PV's and it has some scratches already, nothing youd notice right away, but theyre there. It has 0 and i mean ZERO scratches from droping. so it has to be from something pretty sharp in my pocket gouging it. so no real complaints there.

Finally vaping my modded mini-sub with a Volt 808 carto and RY4v2. I'm in HOG HEAVEN!!!!! I tried some Delrin end caps I had from a Liquinator P.O.S. tank that was thrown aside and they worked ok but still a bit too loose on the carto. I may go back to the grommets yet tho. I LOVE the easy fill hole and thumbscrew on the sub (my selling point). The saddle valve takes a bit of care to get the needle to not slide to the side when puncturing. I couldn't find the "C" type which would have been a lot better, so I had to use the one with the double brackets.

Either way it's working now!!

We just got in the door and the cartos are here. I will be punching them tomorrow and restock all the assembled sub's tomorrow evening. I also spent time today with someone very special an artist that Blows Glass and does amazing work with wood mother of pearl to much to get into, but next year I'm hoping everything we offer will be made right here and awesome stuff only this fella makes, with great prices. I am very excited he lives about six miles from us down here

FTx, You need to tighten the saddle valve around the carto with the phillips screws. There is a rubber piece that protects the carto, and helps to keep it tight. Some of the saddle valves are different, and yours may not have the rubber piece.

Hopefully soon, M&P's will have cartos.

Yeah, I know but it's the needle that's trying to tilt on me. The carto is stable. Cheap POS but it works....

No Pop, mine works. Ya just gotta watch it. Next time I'll get the C-clamp design from Amazon. I just wanted my tank workin' NOW mister! LOL!!! The POS is all they had in my little burg and I was in a hurry to use it.

OH! Dang! Speakin' of which I gotta order some RY4v2, gettin low....

BTW, Which sweetener will work best on tobacco variants? I need to fix a couple of "other guys" juices so I can use them up.
Whoops, never mind, I see it.
How much sweetener for 30 ml to a level of say RY4 or v2?
